It’s going to be a long summer as we wait for the season premiere of all our favorite shows, and particularly Grey’s Anatomy which left us with the mother of all cliffhangers. ABC knows we’re dying to know what happens next, which is partly why they’ve released a promo; just in case we forgot, for just a moment, that we’re impatiently awaiting the next seasons. For those that haven’t forgotten, this is ABC’s way of taunting us and cackling evilly at our pain.

The season finale of Grey’s Anatomy is going down in a couple of days. We’ve got guest stars galore and what’s sure to be a mind-blowing episode chock-full of drama. The big question still remains: Is Izzie going to die? And … what’s gonna happen to George? Are both Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight heading for the exit door or is Shonda just trying to scare us? And then, of course, there’s also the question of MerDer and Hunt and Yang and Callie and Arizona and Lexie and Mark. What’s going to happen to our favorite couples come season’s end?

Well, we’ll hopefully find out during Thursday’s back-to-back airing of the last two episodes of the season. Can’t wait!

There’s only a few days left until the highly anticipated season finale of season five of Grey’s Anatomy. The last two episodes of the season are airing this Thursday starting at 9/8c on ABC, and the network is definitely counting on us tuning in. But for those that need a little more prodding, here’s another promo for what’s certain to be a drama-packed 2-hour event.

By now I’m guessing you’ve all managed to watch the 100th episode of Grey’s Anatomy. No MerDer wedding after all, as most of us had known for a while. But a sweet moment for Izzie and Alex all the same. Did you enjoy the twist? Did you find it too predictable?

Justin Chambers is making the promotion rounds. He was on Good Morning America and now then he dropped by The View to discuss life as a Grey’s Anatomy actor. The ladies bring up how Grey’s Anatomy fans are like Trekkies (really?) and talk a bit about his five kids. And briefly touch on the whole Izzie sleeping with the ghost of Denny storyline.

Justin Chambers dropped by Good Morning America to talk about the 100th episode of Grey’s Anatomy. He didn’t reveal anything beyond, “It’s Meredith and Derek’s wedding day.” Key word: Day. They show one of the clips from the sneak peeks I posted yesterday. And as a bonus you get a clip of his kids playing music. They have a band!

We’re down to two more days of waiting before the landmark 100th episode of our beloved Grey’s Anatomy. We don’t know everything about it yet, but we can probably guess that it’s going to be charming and funny and heartbreaking all at the same time - because that’s what Grey’s Anatomy does best.

ABC has released another promotional video for Thurday’s episode (5.22 “What a Difference a Day Makes”) and it’s making me feel all the more impatient.

The clip focuses heavily on the MerDer wedding, which has always been the focus of the episode. But then we get a hint of the darker, more heartwrenching part of what’s going to happen and as we could’ve probably predicted, it’s all about Izzie. Meanwhile, Cristina and Owen have a really sweet moment in there too.

It’s Sara Ramirez’s turn in the hot seat, as she prepares to answer some pressing viewer questions.

Here’s the lowdown of what she’s asked:

• Is Callie ever going to sing on the show?
• What lies ahead for Callie and Arizona?
• How do you think Callie’s parents will react to her dating a woman?
• Will the friendship between Callie and Mark ever become more?
• What is it like filming love scenes in front of the entire crew?
• How do you prepare for your more emotional scenes?

I love Sara Ramirez so much! And it’s a huge treat to see her answering questions about Callie and the show.

For those who can’t see the video, here’s a few highlights:

• Some scenes of Callie singing have been shot, but have all been cut for various reasons. But there’s always talk of shooting more. Maybe one will stick!
• The writers are taking Callie and Arizona one episode at a time, so she doesn’t know what lies ahead. But she hopes for all the best for them.
• She doesn’t know if Callie and Mark will ever become more, but she loves them together so perhaps in the future. That said, she loves the idea that a man and woman can be such good friends and such equals.
• Filming love scenes in front of the crew can often be “comical.”

The 100th episode of Grey’s Anatomy is only in a few days, which means the long-awaited Meredith/Derek wedding is almost here. Or is it? Well, we’ll find out on Thursday night. In the meantime, the whole of Seattle Grace is in preparations for the big day. Everyone’s got the dresses, the flowers are ready, and Izzie has proven herself to be the world’s best wedding planner, ever.
