For those of you that like to keep track of the songs airing in each of the episodes, here goes a list of songs from 5.20 “Sweet Surrender.”

For your convenience, I’m linking to each of the bands’ pages so you can check them out more carefully. The last three songs are available through iTunes. The Mostar Diving Club doesn’t show up in my iTunes search, but they do have a MySpace page.

  • “Vagabonds and Clowns” - The Mostar Diving Club (This song played at the very beginning of the episode, during the opening montage).
  • “Sweetheart” - Jont (Owen and George operate on their patient, and Bailey convinces the little girl’s dad to stay with her).
  • “Summer Came When We Were Falling Out” - Shady Bard (Owen’s second therapy scene, Arizona and Bailey’s “heroic” scene).
  • “Break Me Out” - The Rescues (Meredith in the dress at the end, and Meredith asking Lexie to be a bridesmaid).

For anyone trying to track down the music from the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy “Before and After,” here’s the official track list:

(Links will take you to the performer’s official sites or MySpace pages)

I was really excited when I heard “Winter Song” during the episode because I’ve been in love with that song since the holidays.

Here’s the official video, in case you haven’t seen it. I think it’s so cute.

Grey’s Anatomy Music: 5.10 “All By Myself”

December 8, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz

ABC hasn’t yet posted the official music list from last Thursday’s episode but Tune Find has a list of songs for “All By Myself.” So if you’re looking for what played during the episode, check these songs out:

  • Beggin’ - Madcon
  • In the Streets - Lil Wyte
  • Secret - Max Morgan
  • Street Lights - Kanye West
  • They Said I Said - Sugarush Beat Company
  • Winter Birds - Ray LaMontagne

If any of these are wrong, or if anything’s missing from the list that you’re aware of, let me know! Hope this helps those of you looking for some new tunes.

I’ll leave you with this pretty cool fanmade video of Kanye West’s “Street Lights” which was featured pretty prominently during the episode.

Grey’s Anatomy Music 5.05 “There’s No ‘I’ In Team”

October 27, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz

Last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy “There’s No ‘I’ In Team” had its fair share of wonderful music (as usual). If you’re looking to find the name of a tune from the episode, here’s a list of songs that appeared. I’ve added links to each performer’s MySpace page so that you can check out more of their music.

Note: ABC has Lenka’s song listed as “Live Like Your Dying” but I’m fairly certain that’s a typo. I looked it up on iTunes and it has it correctly spelled as “You’re.”

Enjoy the music!

All great songs. Did any of these stand out to you? I always use Grey’s Anatomy as a source of music research to find my next favorite song.

Taylor Swift “White Horse”

October 5, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz

For those looking for the full version of Taylor Swift’s “White Horse” which played during the first episode of season five of Grey’s Anatomy, look no further.

I fell in love with the song the moment I heard it playing on the background of the episode. Can’t wait to pick up Taylor Swift’s new CD “Fearless” which hits stores on November 11.

Edit: Looks like the video was taken offline. I’ll re-post it again if I find the song again!
