Next week brings us a lot of Derek-centric drama, which should make McDreamy fans happy. More Derek is never a bad thing! We’re still a week away, unfortunately, which means we’ll have to survive on spoiler crumbs until then. But if you’re in the mood for something a little more visual, here’s a photo slide show of promotional photos for next week’s episode.

Grey’s Anatomy 6.06 Promotional Photos

Are you strapped in for this week’s episode? So far, season six has hit the ground running with changes, drama, more changes, more drama and um … well I think that just about covers it. Your comments keep flooding in and the general consensus is that the Mercy Westers should head on back to Mercy West and let Seattle Grace go back to what it used to be. The bad news is that the Mercy Westers aren’t going anywhere quite yet. My only guess is that they will be written to become more likable with time and they will eventually worm their way into our hearts. Maybe. That, or they’ll be sacrificed to the Parking Lot of Doom gods one by one.

But this week, the drama gets turned up another notch. From the look of things, this week our favorite characters will be fighting and looking sour. A lot. Let’s hope there’s a bit more to the episode than grumpy doctors. Going by the promo, things are going to get interesting.

Grey’s Anatomy Music from 5.20 “Sweet Surrender”

For those of you that like to keep track of the songs airing in each of the episodes, here goes a list of songs from 5.20 “Sweet Surrender.”

For your convenience, I’m linking to each of the bands’ pages so you can check them out more carefully. The last three songs are available through iTunes. The Mostar Diving Club doesn’t show up in my iTunes search, but they do have a MySpace page.

“Vagabonds and Clowns” – The Mostar Diving Club (This song played at the very beginning of the episode, during the opening montage).
“Sweetheart” – Jont (Owen and George operate on their patient, and Bailey convinces the little girl’s dad to stay with her).
“Summer Came When We Were Falling Out” – Shady Bard (Owen’s second therapy scene, Arizona and Bailey’s “heroic” scene).
“Break Me Out” – The Rescues (Meredith in the dress at the end, and Meredith asking Lexie to be a bridesmaid).

Grey’s Anatomy Music: 5.10 “All By Myself”

ABC hasn’t yet posted the official music list from last Thursday’s episode but Tune Find has a list of songs for “All By Myself.” So if you’re looking for what played during the episode, check these songs out:

For those looking for the full version of Taylor Swift’s “White Horse” which played during the first episode of season five of Grey’s Anatomy, look no further.

I fell in love with the song the moment I heard it playing on the background of the episode. Can’t wait to pick up Taylor Swift’s new CD “Fearless” which hits stores on November 11.
