Grey’s Anatomy 2009 Emmy Nominations
July 16, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Well, the 2009 Emmy nominations are in, and I’m sad to say that Grey’s Anatomy failed to score a nominiation in the major categories. Those being: Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress. It wasn’t shut out entirely, of course, though I’m still disappointed. Particularly by the fact that Katherine Heigl got left out. That said, it’s always nice to see Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh getting recognized, but I feel like this year it should’ve gone to Heigl. Also, what’s with the guys getting left out all the time? Justin Chambers was amazing this season.

Chandra Wilson at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards
September 23, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz
I always feel giddy whenever I see Chandra Wilson anywhere. There’s just something about her that makes me happy. She looked absolutely wonderful at the Emmys; elegant and beautiful. I can’t wait to have her – and the rest of the cast of Grey’s Anatomy – back on my TV screen week after week.

Sandra Oh at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards
September 23, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz
I was disappointed that Grey’s Anatomy didn’t win at the Emmys. It would’ve been nice to see Sandra Oh or Chandra Wilson go home with the statue, but there’s always next year, and maybe Katherine Heigl will like her storyline enough this year to stay in the running.
All the same, here’s some pictures of the lovely Sandra Oh at the Emmys on Sunday night.
I think she looked lovely!

July 23, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz
The nominations for the 2008 ALMA Awards are in, and Sara Ramirez is nominated in the category of Outstanding Actress in a Drama Television Series.
Other nominees in the category include:
Valerie Cruz – The Dresden Files
Cote de Pablo – NCIS
Roselyn Sanchez – Without A Trace
Sara Ramirez was also nominated last year in the category of Outstanding Actress – Television Series, Mini-Series, or TV Movie. Looks like they’ve rearranged the categories a little bit. She went up against America Ferrera from Ugly Betty, Constance Marie from George Lopez, and Alexa Vega from Walkout. Unsurprisingly, America Ferrera took the prize in 2007.
