Kevin McKidd Stars in Short Film ‘One Night Emergency’
November 2, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
This year’s Inverness Film Festival kicks off on November 11th, so if you’re in the UK and love Kevin McKidd, you may want to make a special point of clearing your schedule on November 13. Our beloved Scottish actor is starring in a short film entitled One Night Emergency, which “charts one man’s journey through the wards of an overrun, inner-city hospital” in search of his wife.
Directed by playwright Gregory Burke, this film borrows from the classic Homer’s Odyssey and should prove to be a worthwhile 59 minutes. Plus: Kevin McKidd. Other actors: Michelle Ryan (who plays McKidd’s wife), Igal …read more
Chyler Leigh, Kevin McKidd on the Set of Grey’s
April 16, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Not to be left behind, Chyler Leigh and Kevin McKidd were also spotted on the set of Grey’s Anatomy during the wedding episode filming. It’s fascinating to see what they all do during breaks.
Although I’m not quite sure what Chyler Leigh is doing in this photo.
She’s either taking a picture of the Paps taking a picture of her, or there’s a song playing and she launched her Shazam iPhone app to find out what song it is. Those are my theories, anyway.
After the jump, Kevin McKidd … with a book. Some people talk on the phone, some people eat, …read more
German Interview with Grey’s Anatomy Cast
April 15, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Yesterday, on Twitter, I posted a link to a German interview with the cast of Grey’s Anatomy and a kind soul took the time to translate the interview into English (thanks @yirehmail!!).
The interview features Patrick Dempsey talking about his thoughts regarding the season, car racing and what he thinks about being the Sexiest Man Alive. Also, Ellen Pompeo, who comments on Derek’s new look, but thinks it’s less enjoyable to kiss him because it’s scratchy. Sandra Oh who states that she’s a big fan of humor and also talks about working with Kevin McKidd. Kevin McKidd returns the favor and …read more
TV Guide’s Mega Minute: Kevin McKidd Talks T.R. Knight
March 30, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Kevin McKidd’s been making the media rounds lately, and he recently sat down with TV Guide for their Mega Minute series. He talks about T.R. Knight and the fact that he’s been … well, pretty much invisible all season. However, there’s hope. If you’ve been following our spoilers, then some of this will sound familiar.
Sounds like Hunt will be taking George under his wing and all of this will lead to a very dramatic episode that will put George front and center. Of course, the big question remains whether this sudden spotlight on George’s character is written to show fans …read more
Kevin McKidd Interview with Entertainment Weekly
March 26, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Kevin McKidd is everywhere lately! He is not shying away from the media circuit, that’s for sure, and we fans appreciate it!
The actor sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss Grey’s Anatomy, and a few of his answers are featured in Ausiello’s latest spoilerfest.
In the interview, McKidd discusses Hunt’s mid-night attack of Cristina and where that leads in terms of storyline. Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more Derek and Hunt bonding.
He also answers the question of how he felt about taking a role that deals with “such a touchy issue” as PTSD, and he says that originally the …read more
Kevin McKidd Talks to ABC News About Grey’s
March 25, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Kevin McKidd sat down for an interview with ABC News Radio, where he answered the Big Questions surrounding Grey’s Anatomy these days.
First of all, the thing on everyone’s mind is the MerDer proposal. Is it finally happening this week? According to McKidd (and pretty much everyone else), “Yes. The last time I looked, that was the case.” The title of the episode, “Elevator Love Letter,” does little to conceal the location of the long-awaited proposal.
But there’s still the question of the wedding. We now know that Shonda Rhimes confirmed a wedding this season, however we don’t know who …read more
On Set Interview with Kevin McKidd
March 18, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Kevin McKidd takes a few minutes out of his Grey’s Anatomy set time to answer a few questions about what it’s like working on the series and what’s coming up for the character.
Looks like there’s going to be a lot of questioning in the future for Cristina and Hunt. McKidd says he thinks Hunt will try to “fix” himself and become a whole person for Cristina.
I love his accent! lol

Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Hunt’s Past, Hunt/Cristina
January 14, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
TV Guide reveals that Grey’s Anatomy will be shedding some light on Hunt’s mysterious past sometime this season.
The show has already cast Laura Allen (Dirt, The 4400, All My Children) to play – wait for it – his ex-lover. She’ll be guest starring in the 15th’s episode (which also happens to be Melissa George’s last).
But that’s not all! Kevin McKidd himself revealed that Hunt’s mother and father might also make an appearance. They “might be” cast later on.
I’m thinking Cristina and the ex-lover are going to have some fun scenes together. Well, I hope, anyway.
Speaking of Cristina and Hunt, …read more
Kevin McKidd on the Ellen DeGeneres Show
January 6, 2009 by Ingrid Diaz
Kevin McKidd dropped by Ellen’s talk show this week to discuss life as Grey’s Anatomy’s latest stud doctor. The beginning of the interview includes a new clip of Owen and Cristina, which is a nice treat for us impatient ones.
Another nice treat is getting to hear McKidd’s Scottish accent. It’s so cute! They go into it for a bit during the interview, as well as what led him to become an actor.
Kevin McKidd Might Play Thor
December 4, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz
It seems that Kevin McKidd is rather popular these days. News came the other day that he might be leaving the Grey’s set for Rome and now there’s rumblings that the Thor movie might be picking him up for the lead. In an interview with IGN Movies, the actor revealed that there’s still the chance that he’ll get cast in the role.
Thankfully for Grey’s fans who don’t want to see the actor taken away to yet another project, nothing’s been set in stone. And again – like with Rome – there’s the chance that these schedules might co-exist in …read more
