The red carpet was rolled out at The Arclight Theatre in Hollywood, California yesterday to welcome the cast, crew and close friends and family. The Ugly Truth is a romantic comedy in which Katherine Heigl’s character and Gerard Butler’s ultimately overcome whatever personality clashes and conflicts stand in the way of their inevitable Happily Ever After. Well, the 2009 Emmy nominations are in, and I’m sad to say that Grey’s Anatomy failed to score a nominiation in the major categories. Those being: Best Drama, Best Actor, Best Actress. It wasn’t shut out entirely, of course, though I’m still disappointed. Particularly by the fact that Katherine Heigl got left out. That said, it’s always nice to see Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh getting recognized, but I feel like this year it should’ve gone to Heigl. Also, what’s with the guys getting left out all the time? For those wondering what Justin Chambers has been up to during his off time from Grey’s Anatomy, here’s a photographic peek. He and his lovely wife Keisha hopped on over to Hawaii to relax in the sun.
Not a bad way to spend a vacation, I’d say! Not sure how long they were there, but from the photos it looks like they had a blast. Hopefully that means we’ll have a well-rested Alex at the start of season six.

Justin Chambers is making the promotion rounds. He was on Good Morning America and now then he dropped by The View to discuss life as a Grey’s Anatomy actor. A plethora of celebrities turned up at the 7th Annual Butterfly Ball, and amongst the stars were Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley. The Butterfly Ball was held at a private residence in Los Angeles. Its purpose is to benefit Chrysalis, an organization that helps homeless men and women to find jobs and homes.
Here’s the happy couple looking happy and in love.
