McSteamy ‘Sex Tape’ Leaked

Not all Grey’s Anatomy news can remain PG-rated, it seems. Gawker has posted what is being described as a “sex tape” featuring Eric Dane, wife Rebecca Gayheart and former Miss Teen USA 2002 Kari Ann Peniche. While the video remains (as of this moment) on the Internet, Dane and Gayheart’s lawyer is already on the job, trying to get it removed. Then again, what makes it to the Internet, stays on the Internet.
Despite the fact that everyone’s calling it a sex tape, there’s no actual sex in the video. There’s a lot of nakedness, and a lot of drunkeness and inebriated discussions about what their porn names might be. If you’re curious, Eric Dane’s would be Tuff Hedemen.
The video currently available at Gawker is an edited version of an original 12-minute clip.
This is a good reminder not to video tape yourself doing things you don’t want other people to see, particularly if you are or have plans to become famous. No doubt there will be a lot more to come on this.
Does this change the way you view Eric Dane or do you think this sort of thing should be left alone by the media?

It doesn’t change a thing for me. Grey’s Anatomy is not a reality show. It’s a drama portrayed by some excellent actors, Eric Dane included. While I wish nothing but the best for the entire cast personally, it’s ultimately none of my business (or anyone elses) to judge the personal life of any one of them. If I am still moved and entertained and challenged by the GA episodes then Eric Dane and the rest are doing their jobs. And that is the only thing that affects me.
I actually think it’s quite a nice fit, the actor doing what his role is most likely phantasizing about. But ultimately I agree with Tamsin, it’s none of my business what he does in his private life, so I don’t judge him on that; what concenting adults do within their own walls is theirs, and I don’t think there’s anything illegal about it
Totally agree with Tamsin! Is his personal life and we don’t have any right to judge them! And of course I thing that doesn’t change our love for Sloane!!! XoXo

I can’t believe you would even put this post up. What the actors do on their own time is their business and you didn’t need to add the their embarrassment by posting it. I’m looking for news, but not this type.
I totally agree with Tamsin. Haven’t we all done stupid things in our personal lives? I still think he is a fantastic comedic actor and it’s nice to see his legal team seems to be a good one. I feel bad, more than anything else, because this video is old and private and its a shame it was released.
The amusing thing, to me, is that many people were actually excited to see it released….and only McSteamy could garner that reaction from people

Looks like he’s a man-whore on and off screen. Why don’t celebrities realize that making a sex tape is always a bad idea and will some way or another always make it on the internet?

That’s the most screentime his wife has gotten in years! Maybe she leaked it to try and rejuevenate her dying career?

Well, Eric Dane is not my husband..he is an actor.
That’s it. If we fantasize him to be a perfect person, I think we are the one who has the problem.

Any one no when the new season is starting up.
A threesome may not be my thing. But there are people who enjoy it. It was between three adults who were fine with what they were doing. It should really be of no ones concern. It does not make them bad people. The only mistake they made was taping it.
