Ellen Pompeo is Pregnant

Ellen Pompeo and her husband, Chris Ivery, have officially confirmed the pregancy to PEOPLE! Looks like Shonda Rhimes is going to have fun hiding all of these pregnancies. If you recall, Chyler Leigh is also pregnant. They could always turn it into some kind of Grey sisters pregnancy extravaganza! Only hopefully not. And I doubt they will, because there doesn’t seem to be any plans to make Lexie pregnant any time soon.
I recall reading a ‘tweet’ from Shonda stating that Meredith would not be pregnant but I can’t seem to find it. If anyone spots it and can send me a link to it, I’ll edit this post and add it.
What would you think of a pregnant Meredith? Do you think they should have the pregnancy on the show or should they hide it?

Congrats to Ellen & Chris! I guess Meridith will be wearing Lab Coats as her pregnancy progresses OR a twist would be that she is pregnant on the show and she has to have a lot of procedures to save the baby. Good luck to Shonda in working with 2 pregnant ladies!
they should make her pregnant on the show! a mcbaby would bring more storylines for them as a couple.

Congrats to Ellen and Chris! Now, there little one can run around with all of the other little ones that the cast has! Anyway, I think that it would be too soon for Meredith to get pregnant on the show and to deal with that next season would be tough. We will all just have to watch!

I think Meredith should get pregnant because otherwise her relationship with Derek (if they don’t get married) might become a little boring and a baby would bring happiness! That’s my opinion!!!
I think she deleted that Tweet on purpose. Maybe there is a slight possibility of a McBaby in the future!

OMG!! They should totally write the pregnancy in!!! Because they talked about babies in the beginning of the season. It would make the show better too. Im so happy for you Ellen and Chris.

they definately should have her pregnant in the show! a baby for meridyth and derek would be perfect! i mean its been 6 years and they have sex all the time so it wouldnt be that big of a shock!
