Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Amy Madigan, Hector Elizondo Return

A few more bits of information trickled down from Entertainment Spoiler heaven thanks to Ausiello.

The news points to two confirmed guest stars’ returns to the show in roles we know and love. Or maybe love but at least know.

So here’s what we’ve just learned:

• Amy Madigan will be returning to Seattle Grace. You’ll remember her as Meredith’s shrink.
• Hector Elizondo is also returning. You’ll remember him as Callie’s dad.

Okay, so why is Amy Madigan back? Before you worry that it has something to do with Meredith and Derek… don’t. She’s back not for Meredith but for Owen. In a previous spoiler I wrote that Owen’s PTSD gets a bit out of hand and he ends up hurting Cristina. Well, the doctor’s in the house to help him out.

As far as Hector Elizondo, the other day I posted some leaked casting sides that pointed to Callie coming out to her father. Well, it’s confirmed that Hector Elizondo is back as Callie’s dad and he returns to find that his daughter now likes girls. According to the sides, this should be happening in episode 5.20.
