Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers: Izzie’s Diagnosis

So, we all know that Izzie is sick and that whatever she has is not going to be good. Rumors have it that her illness has been devised as a way to give Katherine Heigl a smooth (and permanent) exit from the show, but we’ve gotten no confirmations yet as to whether or not that’s true.
We do, however, now know what Izzie’s condition is.
So if you’ve been trying to keep spoiler-free, stop reading!
**SPOILERS**
According to Spoiler TV, Justin Chambers revealed in an interview with TVGuide.ca that……….
“Izzie has cancer, so I’m there to support her.”
Cancer.
So now we know. And I imagine that part of the end of the season will be spent trying to … what? Cure Izzie? Is it operable? Does she go into remission?
The big question, of course is: Does she die??
No one knows. Well, I’m sure people know, they’re just not telling us.
So what do you think of this latest unveiling? Are you scared for Izzie or looking forward to this whole storyline being over?

well we already knew that she had markers for cancer and that the skin thing she had looked at in derm was probably not it. So no big spoiler here really.
I am ready for the story line to be over. If KH is that unhappy let her go and write her out in a way that respects the integrity of the character and the show (what little the show has left).
Looks like we are in for a few weeks of heavy drama episodes with Derek’s impending resignation and Izzy’s illness. Hopefully the writing will live up to that.
I’m anxious for the storyline to pick up and glad we now know what it is. I love Izzie and am sad to see her go but know KH will knock her scenes out of the park.
I couldn’t be happier! If KH wants to leave let her leave but let her character Izzy go out the way she started the show. I loved the Izzy character for the first two seasons but now she gets on my nerves. Let’s not forget the whole Denny BS which and made the show stretch the limit of reality so thin… I’m glad KH will be leaving and I hope whoever steps in to “fill the hole” will be an intern or a new doctor. I want to learn more about the new interns’ personality, personal lives and see them step up in their roles. We’ve grown to love the season 1 intern cast and I really want that feeling back by following a new set of interns but that’s just me. How long can the original intern cast be drawn out? Eventually each will go their own way.

KH is a good actor I know she can pull it off.
I REALLY hope she doesnt die! Shes one of my favorite characters! If she dies I will stop watching the show. If she doesnt dies but she leaves the show that will be O.K.
Pls, don´t kill Izzie, she is good, pretty, smart and is my favorite character. Pls let her continue in the series. She has suffered enough, let her happy, plis, plis, plis.
i love izzie and hope it works out well for her. i dont really care about the new interns, the show is supposed to be about the original cast. when they go to their own specialties i’ll still love it.
