Ellen Pompeo dropped by Children’s Hospital Boston yesterday, alongside her husband Chris Ivery. She was naturally pressed about the rumors surrounding the upcoming Grey’s Anatomy wedding. Although, they’re not so much rumors anymore, since Shonda Rhimes herself confirmed it. Sort of. Well, in a cryptic sort of way.

Pompeo didn’t let anything slip, though, besides the usual. But I suppose we can dissect that little nugget of info through the magnifying glass of obsessive-compulsive speculation and fan-geekiness.

The 20th Annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Awards took place this past Saturday, March 28, and T.R. Knight was in attendance. He presented Suze Orman with the Vito Russo Award, which recognizes mainstream media for the fair, accurate and inclusive representation of the LGBT community.

He was looking sharp as always, and sporting a white knot in support of marriage equality.

Expect to be hearing a lot about this Grey’s Anatomy wedding, because even though no one is saying anything specific, everyone’s still talking about it. But to make sure nothing important leaks out, Shonda Rhimes has increased security.

Scripts are being distributed to “essential personnel only” and the last 30 pages? No one has them! Why all the secrecy?

Because Shonda doesn’t want anyone to know who the bride and groom are. Despite what she said at the 100th episode party, inside sources are sticking with their original story:

Kevin McKidd’s been making the media rounds lately, and he recently sat down with TV Guide for their Mega Minute series. He talks about T.R. Knight and the fact that he’s been … well, pretty much invisible all season. However, there’s hope. If you’ve been following our spoilers, then some of this will sound familiar.

Sounds like Hunt will be taking George under his wing and all of this will lead to a very dramatic episode that will put George front and center. Of course, the big question remains whether this sudden spotlight on George’s character is written to show fans that he’s just as important as ever before and therefore not going anywhere, or if it’s meant to pave the path for a permanent farewell.

I’m starting to think that Shonda Rhimes really, really enjoys driving us batty with her cryptic spoilers. At the 100th Episode party, she dropped a doozy of a revelation, which pretty much torpedoes other spoilers we’d heard …. or does it?

But before the spoilers, there’s this: Katherine Heigl has apparently stated that she’ll remain with the show if the network decides to keep her. In other words, if they kill her off, she’ll obviously pack her bags, but if they don’t kill her off, then she’ll stay. At least, that’s what I took from her statement. But no one – not even Heigl herself – seems to know Izzie’s fate.

Grey’s Anatomy continues to impress me even more than usual. I almost don’t even know what to say about that episode. I thought it was amazing from start to finish.

If you’ve missed it, or can’t see it from where you are, here’s a brief recap:

Izzie’s been admitted into Seattle Grace (as we saw last week), and Alex watches over her, from afar. Callie and Arizona dance around the living room (so we can assume that they’re together?) And Cristina and Owen (platonically) fall asleep. But the spinning of the fan seems to affect Owen in a terrible way, and Cristina wakes to find him strangling her. Thankfully, Callie hears the commotion and thinks to knock and enter. This wakes Owen up and Cristina breaks free.

Kevin McKidd is everywhere lately! He is not shying away from the media circuit, that’s for sure, and we fans appreciate it!

The actor sat down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss Grey’s Anatomy, and a few of his answers are featured in Ausiello’s latest spoilerfest.

In the interview, McKidd discusses Hunt’s mid-night attack of Cristina and where that leads in terms of storyline. Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more Derek and Hunt bonding.

He also answers the question of how he felt about taking a role that deals with “such a touchy issue” as PTSD, and he says that originally the role was meant to be more romantic, but that the writers quickly saw the potential to dig deeper.

As to whether he feels that Owen and Cristina are really in love he says, “I think they’re really in love.” But after tonight’s incident, “he’ll be focusing on himself for a while.” So prepare yourselves for a (temporary) Cristina/Owen break-up.

Patrick Dempsey was spotted at LAX earlier in the week, going through the mandatory security. Like the rest of us mere mortals, he had to removed his shoes to go through the metal detector. And this series of photos wants to imply that McDreamy’s feet might be a little on the smelly side and that he was pinching his nose as a result.

It’s pretty funny. I’m not sure if that’s really what he was doing. Maybe part of going through security these days involves an impromptu game of Simon Says. Simon says pinch your nose!

Kevin McKidd sat down for an interview with ABC News Radio, where he answered the Big Questions surrounding Grey’s Anatomy these days.

First of all, the thing on everyone’s mind is the MerDer proposal. Is it finally happening this week? According to McKidd (and pretty much everyone else), “Yes. The last time I looked, that was the case.” The title of the episode, “Elevator Love Letter,” does little to conceal the location of the long-awaited proposal.

But there’s still the question of the wedding. We now know that Shonda Rhimes confirmed a wedding this season, however we don’t know who will be getting married. Would a quick MerDer wedding be enough of a “surprise?” No one seems to know. In fact, McKidd said, “Even I don’t know that yet.”

But we can probably rule out Hunt and Cristina, given the fact that Hunt’s PTSD is a major problem for the relationship, something that we’ll get to see first hand in tomorrow night’s episode (sneak peek here).

Regarding the other Big Question: Are Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight headed through the exit doors? McKidd says everyone’s there and everyone’s working and everyone’s got their contracts. Which basically means: No one’s going to tell us.
