New Grey’s Anatomy Promo: Rose Pregnant?

There’s been quite the stir at ABC headquarters thanks to a new Grey’s Anatomy season five promo which shows Rose telling Derek that she’s carrying his child. Angry fans began calling foul since Shonda Rhimes specifically assured us that Rose would not be pregnant in season five and that there wouldn’t be any curve balls thrown at the MerDer pair.
Thankfully, the shot in the promo was put in there by mistake (oops!) and Shonda Rhimes has assured her viewers that the storyline will not be making it into the actual season. Of course, it looks like they not only considered it but went so far as to shoot it because, well, there it is. Plain as day.
I wonder at what point Shonda and Co. realized this was a bad idea?
All the same, breathe easy, MerDer fans. Rose won’t be giving birth to McBabies any time soon.

Oh my god! seriously this is the best show ever..i can’t wait to september 25Th or 26th…because i’m from pt and so icant see in the day..and i’ll day just waiting for the next day! lol when i see this promo..i almost fall of my chair..really..rose pregnant ? my god..this is suspense in a hole new level and i like it..because easy way it’s not fun lol
then the accident..mcdreamy? if it is..meredith it’s so desperated in that scene..i like it XD drama..and just dying to see all the news that shonda have for us..really..this is brilliant and in the end all be okay with merder <3
See, when I saw that, i assumed they were just putting it in to screw with us… it’s very much so like rose to say that and then just be screwing around with derek. probably just saying that and then says something like “haha, gottcha!”

If Rose did anything like that to Derek, she would lose the respect of pretty much all of us MerDer fans. It’s really not her fault that Derek is in love with Mer. Faking a pregnancy to keep Derek is just… well, the word I wanna use is pretty vulgar, so I’ll go with crappy instead.
May be is just a fantasy of Rose…may be she is imagining the only thing that could make Derek stay…We’ll see…
I agree that it may be a desperate attempt to hold on to Derek. Just because Rose isn’t actually going to be pregnant does mean she won’t try to fake a pregnancy.

Maybe Rose is preggers – but it turns out to be someone else’s… then all the people who feel bad for Rose will think she’s McEasy and we can sail off into MerDer bliss without worrying about her hurt feelings.
