Kate Walsh Promises Stronger Addison

Arrivals at the ABC Launch Party For The Private Practice: 1st Season DVD

The cast and crew of Private Practice seem to be working overtime in promoting the second season. I can’t decide if it’s because they’re worried the show is going to crash and burn or if it’s that they’re genuinely excited about the show’s progression (perhaps both?) I’m hoping the show continues on for ever and ever, as I love Addison and want to see her live long and prosper; even if it’s only within the magical world inside my TV.

The lovely Kate Walsh sat down with People to discuss the second season and many promises abound for the return of the show. The actress mentioned the return of “strong Addison.” I imagine she’s referring to a new and improved emotionally strong Addison, rather than the sudden introduction of a Hulk-like, building-crushing Addison (as titillating as that might be for a minute or two).

But no, Walsh reveals that Addison has “found her footing” at least professionally. In terms of her personal life she’ll remain “conflicted and vulnerable.” But that doesn’t mean she won’t find happiness. As I mentioned before, David Sutcliffe is set to sweep Addison off her conflicted and vulnerable feet. At least for eleven episodes or so.

Look for the premiere of Private Practice on October 1.

Um wow to that first comment.

Yeah, 11 episodes is a lot. I’m curious to see where this goes.
