Grey’s Anatomy Poll: Who Will Be Pregnant?
Michael Ausiello dropped a bit of a bomb on us recently with his assertion that a pregnancy was potentially in the works for season five of Grey’s Anatomy. He didn’t tell us who it would be, but he did hint that it would be one of the ladies involved in one of the steamy kisses at the end of the finale. That doesn’t narrow the list down entirely, but it does let us focus on some likely candidates.
My money is on Callie. It seems television producers like to stick pregnancy alongside lesbian storylines to - I guess - water them down and desexualize the relationship. It won’t be the first time this happened and it likely won’t be the last. Of course, that’s just my opinion and it could be someone else entirely. The chief’s wife, for example. Though she might be too old. Then again, that’s unlikely to stop them from writing it anyway. I doubt it will be Izzie or Meredith. I don’t think Hahn’s had sex with anyone.
So, what do you think? Assuming it’s true, who’s your pick?

Of course it has to be Rose!!!!! Just Mer and Der can’t be together and live happily ever after. It’s too obvious.

I think it will be Callie. She and Sloan sure hooked up enough to make it plausible. I hope Rose would not be the one pregnant. She didn’t kiss Derek at all in the finale which goes against the spoiler, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t possible. I think if the writers made Rose pregnant it would make many people mad which is the reason they put Derek and Meredith back together right?

its not rose people. she didnt kiss derek in the finale. and its not meredith because her and derek havent had sex for months (it was six weeks when we jumped back into the show since they last dated). its callie for sure.

Maybe saying that it was someone who was involved in one of the kisses was just a way of not making it too obvious that it’s going to be Rose. Maybe they’re just trying to trick us :P

OMG! First of all if it is Rose, that would be a TERRIBLE start for a new season!!!!! Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if it is Adele. She is not a main character on the show, maybe we are thinking too much in to this who thing… if Adele is pregnant then it won’t really effect the dynamic of the show… just a thought! :)

All my money is on callie, if its adele it wouldnt matter. If its Rose which i know for a fact it is not, then tht would certainly suck cause her character wasnt all tht in the show, she served her purpose so y do we need her back. Anyways i think its callie cuz i really see the whole callie/hahn thing gettin a little too complicated to write properly enough to tackle all aspects of tht complicated scenario (the whole im not gay but y do i have feelings for u type of thing ) so the pregnancy would make sense to have as a backup piece to the storyline. callica + sloan 4ever btw cant wait till season 5!!!

for one, I can’t be adele because if you remember from season two, when her neice came to the hospital and all that… She mentioned that she couldn’t have children of her own. It was also mentioned again in season 3 when that neice dies.
And yes I to agree that if it were rose that would be horrible!! But I guess it does make sense. With the whole met and der can never be happy. For too long deal. My bet is is that something will happen to derek on the way to tell rose he’s back with Meredith. Like a car crash or something.

@barbara…very interesting i so wasnt thinking Izzie hmmm tht would be interesting if mayb later on in the season shes preggers with alex’s baby. I kno alex wud be into it cuz he came around pretty fast when rebecca thought she was carrying his baby + he still likes her from season 1, i dont think izzie would be too happy cuz i get the vibe that she’s not as into him as he mayb into her. My money is still on callie me and my friends turnd this into an actual bet callie vs mer

I deeply believe it’s gonna be Izzie as Iz & Alex are taking care of each one since season 1 & they are so beautiful together. I do hope they will stay together for a while in season 5. Iz has already had a baby but she was too young to handle this, so now she will be ready as Alex : they will be great parents !!! Hopefully I would be right as I find Iz & Alex have real feelings since the beginning : they have been always close !!!

hey aside from this debate i think we are all missong the point…pregnancy = possible visit from one fine Dr Addison Montgomery. I really hope we get to see her in season 5 i miss her. Plus if its meredith she might get a little depressed/sad or a little jealous seeing as tho she cant conceive anymore and really wanted a baby with. If its callie and mark’s the father tht may bother her 2 seeing as tho she aborted mark’s baby and now tht she’s barren she probably wishd she didnt (season 3 epi: “the other side of life”)+ mark has changd alot since their affair while she was married and he would make a great father now tht he’s “grown”.

well in the first season she was gonna choose her job, i think if burke was still here and she got pregnant again she would keep it cuz she’s changd alot since she met him. But ur (charlene) setting urself up for failure if you want it to be christina

Personally, I think Meredith is already pregnant. Due to the fact, that Meredith doesn’t go and sleep around after derrick and her agree to see other people. They had continued to have sex for most of season four and in one of her therapy sessions with Dr. Wyatt she is like “it’s only been five weeks since…” and then she hessitates when Dr. Wyatt asks five weeks since when. And then when she is waiting for him in the candles…..and he finally shows she is all like “this is where the kids will play….” I know that she knows he wants kids…but who knows for sure if anyone will ever have kids….so this maybe was her hint to him that she is pregnant. But I don’t, I really hope that it is her and derrick that end up pregnant…..and get married…they really deserve each other. : )

it better not be the bitch rose becure i never hated somone more then her she can just go and f*ck herself. and if she is pragnant then greys anatomy will no longer be worth watchig….
