Patrick Dempsey at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

Patrick Dempsey – in all of his race car loving glory – was present at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (back in 2007) where he met fellow race car driver Patrick O’Neill. McDreamy was checking out a brand new Lotus 2–Eleven hypercar and Mr. O’Neill happened to be the owner. McDreamy asked if he could go along for the ride.

Though the event happened last year, the video was recently submitted by Mr. O’Neill himself to Auto Blog. The video focuses mainly on racing, but it takes you on the car ride itself so it’s almost like you’re riding in the backseat.

Looks like quite the thrill going that fast. No wonder McDreamy likes it so much!
