What Relationship Are Grey’s Anatomy Viewers Most Excited About?
A couple of weeks ago I asked you guys to tell me which of the relationships you were most excited about come season five of Grey’s Anatomy. It should come as no surprise to most that the number one spot is occupied by Meredith and Derek. Indeed, MerDer wins by a landslide. But who comes second?
Callie and Hahn win second place by a very small number of votes over Izzie/Alex. It stands to reason that the Grey’s Anatomy writers have succeeded with their first and unexpected sapphic relationship on the show. Or, at least, with the idea of them. Who knows what’s to come?
Of course, Alex and Izzie shouldn’t be left behind. Alex/Izzie and Callie/Hahn were pretty much even the entire way through.
It sounds like season five will have a very captive audience if the writers manage to balance all of these budding romances in a way that pleases the majority of viewers. Of course drama and Seattle Grace go hand in hand so we’ll just have to see what happiness and unhappiness await our favorite couples.
