Grey’s Anatomy Poll: Should the Grey’s Anatomy Writers Be Offended?

The media is giving a lot of attention to the fact that Katherine Heigl withdrew her name from the Emmys, and it’s since been revealed that the Grey’s Anatomy writers aren’t happy with what the actress told the press. So where do you stand on this issue? Do you think the writers have a right to be offended and feel slighted or do you think that Katherine Heigl had every right to speak her mind?

Sure, they should be offended. The writers bent over backwards to work with her movie schedule and the writers gave her the material that got her recognized for her Emmy nomination. Without material, you can be a great actor but who will notice you with no work. She can refuse all of the nominations she wants…after awhile she will be crying because she is getting overlooked…no nominations will be coming her way.
all I can say is how smart do you think it is to piss off or offend the people who are going to be writing your lines for next season?
Garbage…..that’s what the writing has come to on “Grey’s Anatomy”……they have lost me as a viewer…..Katherine Heigl is a great actress and deserves MUCH better!!!!……I admire her for saying what is true……..the writing stinks…….maybe because she was so vocal about Isaiah Washington (who was a complete jerk)?…….I think she is being punished……I really was into watching Grey last year……but will NEVER watch again……what a shame…….I’ve heard other people say the same thing…….

I have to agree with you there Lynn. That was a seriously pathetic story line and I am really not sure who that added to the overall series. Some serious shark jumping on that one.
