Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing

Actor Patrick Dempsey recently traveled to Maine for the opening of the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. The Grey’s Anatomy actor funded the center in honor of his mom, an ovarian cancer survivor.

~~I’ve been trying to track down an official website for the center but there doesn’t seem to be one (if anyone knows of one, please let me know!)~~

I am really impress with Mr. Dempsey’s level of community involvement. What a wonderful thing to do to recognize his mother and focus attention ovarian cancer and what she and others have been through in such a positive fashion. Now, I know for sure he really is “McDreamy”.
