When Will TV Shows Return?
I mentioned this the other day, but I’ll go a little broader this time because I know Grey’s Anatomy and even Private Practice aren’t the be all end all of TV shows people watch, so I thought this might be useful. Michael Ausiello (who rocks more than any human being should rock) has compiled a list of TV shows - updated hourly - which gives us an idea of what to expect from our favorite shows when the writer’s strike comes to a close.
Grey’s Anatomy
Expected to shoot 4 to 7 new episodes to air in April/May
Private Practice
Slim chance it could return with 4 or 5 new episodes this season. Either way, it’ll be back in the fall.
The list covers all shows, including the ones that are dead forever - R.I.P. Bionic Woman and Big Shots - and is updated on an hourly basis. This is all tentative information so don’t make it your bible in its current state, but be sure to check back and see what’s changed from time to time.
I’m particularly jazzed that Gossip Girl looks like it will get some new episodes before the fall. Too bad Chuck won’t. Alas.
Now let’s cross our fingers that the 4-7 Grey’s Anatomy episodes lean more toward seven than four :)

Sad to see one of my favs are not returning. I love Big Shots and was looking forward to seeing how some of the things that were left up in the air by the strike are resolved. Now I will never know…what a bummer!
