The beloved Kate Walsh will once again be walking through the halls of Seattle Grace for one upcoming episode. This episode will be amongst those airing during the April/May return-of-the-shows spree.

There’s no word yet on what Addison’s role will be in the episode as Shonda Rhimes is still ironing out the script so details will probably start leaking once she’s done.

Addison back in Seattle Grace … such good news. I’ve missed her. Even if it’s just for one episode, I can’t wait to see her with the Grey’s Anatomy cast again.

I recently got into a discussion with a friend regarding hospital shows and she said that most of her friends who like Grey’s Anatomy hate House and vice versa. I’ve never personally watched House but a lot of friends have been recommending it, so I’ll likely be catching up on it soon.

But it led me to wonder if it was a widespread thing that people who like one show generally dislike the other. Do you watch House? And if so do you find yourself preferring one show over the other or do some of you love both equally?

Shonda Rhimes is back to blogging away at Grey Matter and she sounds very excited to be back to work. She does, however, remind us about the impact of the writer’s strike. Which is why, for one night only, the cast of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice are putting together a live performance to benefit the crew members affected by the strike.

Sound fun? Oh you betcha!

Here are the details:

When: February 29, 2008

Where: UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles, CA

What: “Good Medicine: A little singing, a little funny, a lot of raising money.” You can expect to hear T.R. Knight singing! Along with Sara Ramirez! Ellen Pompeo, Kate Walsh, Sandra Oh, and others will be present.

How much: $85 a ticket which you can purchase through Ticketmaster.com or call the UCLA Central Ticket Office at 310-825-2101.

If you’re planning to attend (and oh how I wish I could), look for Shonda wearing a sparkly dress.

Let’s mark our calendars, for ABC has finally announced a return date for Grey’s Anatomy at its regular time slot on April 24th. It looks like we’ll be getting five new episodes. Private Practice will not be returning until the fall, unfortunately. But at least we get some more GA goodness coming our way soon.

I posted a few weeks ago about the Grey’s Anatomy cast’s current projects and amongst them was Patrick Dempsey’s upcoming film, Made of Honor, a romantic comedy about “a guy in love with an engaged woman who tries to win her over after she asks him to be her maid of honor.”

Well, the film now has an official release date: May 2 and an official website.

Here’s the trailer if you haven’t seen it already. The film looks hilarious. I can’t wait to see it!
