Katherine Heigl’s ‘27 Dresses’ Release Delayed
January 4, 2008 by Ingrid Diaz

Looks like FOX has moved the opening of Katherine Heigl’s upcoming film, 27 Dresses, from January 11th to January 18th. The reason for the move is unclear though perhaps FOX decided to insert another round of sneak previews into the mix.
That means the movie will be opening a week after the last new episode of Grey’s Anatomy airs, which should give us fans something to look forward to the following week.

They moved it either because:
1. It not as good as the hoped and they’re trying to give it more advertising
2. They don’t want it to lose out to Juno
I wish she had picked something that gets her out of the woe-is-me, I need a man to save me characters. Hopefully her next one will be along the lines of Erin Brokovich.
I think we have seen too much of Katherine Heigl. Her publicists – she has at least two – are working over time. It is like they are shoving her down our throats.
Come on and give Katie a break. How many movies did we see Goldie Hawn in that made her look like a ditzy blonde? How many movies did Sally Field do? She is doing the same thing that all the famous actresses starting out did. You take the roles you are given until you are famous enough to pick and choose. I don’t think she is being shoved down our throats. Don’t watch the movie if you are sick of her. Just my opinion though.
shoot man if i had the chance to make the money katherine heigl makes in those movies i would be in as many as i could too! i don’t blame her one bit

She can do it for the money, fine, but why can’t she pick something good or funny to be in? This looks like it will be soooo depressing.
