Private Practice Episode 9: “In Which Dell Finds His Fight” Highlights.

This was by far one of my favorite Private Practice episodes and yes, unfortunately this is the last taped episode due to the writer’s strike. I was glued to the TV the entire time! Here are a few highlights from the show:

  • Remember the newlyweds who were having, um, problems down there? You know, she was broken until Addison fixed her. Well, she’s not so broken anymore and now they want a baby. They’ve been trying like a couple of rabbits to get pregnant and nothing. Addison and Naomi encourage them to be patient but they’re not spring chickens and they want a baby now. Come to find out, the husbands sperm count is like non-existent so they need to move on to Plan B. What was their plan B? They brought in his brother, who’s a big fat jerk, and are about to inseminate her with his sperm when at the last minute both of the newlyweds yell, “No!” Smart move, don’t you think? So Addison and Naomi come up with another plan. They go through his testicles, um ouch!, and find one little lonely guy and extract him. To make a long story short, they are pretty sure they made a baby. I guess we’ll have to wait and see…
  • Oh dear, the “fight club” scene. Old men knocking the stuffing our of each other just made me cringe. Dell’s grandfather, who’s at a nursing home, and his friends were sick and tired of playing bingo. So, they organized a little fight club, yes, fight club between 80 year olds. Yeah, not pretty. Everyone was placing bets and having a grand ‘ol time. Until, Dell and Sam found out and broke up the fight. Dell’s grandfather gave one last punch and knocked his friend out who later died in the hospital. They said his heart was weak and that the fight has nothing to do with it, that he was living on borrowed time. Rrrrriiiigggghhhhhttttt. Anyway, old men fighting…not my cup of tea. Weird.
  • Officer Kevin Nelson (remember the hot cop) came by the office to”pick up his medical records” and he just happened to bump into Addison. He was about to ask her out I believe and he gets an important phone call. Chicken. :) Pete seems to be helping Addison, oh yeah…Addison and Pete are “friends” now, by giving her dating advice. Officer Nelson hasn’t even asked her out yet and Pete asked Cooper if it would be weird to go ahead and beat him up. Nah, go for it! The show ends with Addison waiting at the police station for Nelson and Pete is over at her house waiting for her. Hello!? Don’t these people believe in cell phones! Call her you dummy and tell her to get home because you love her with all of your heart! I guess that wouldn’t make it as exciting though.
  • Cooper and Charlotte are “dating” and making frequent house calls. They are an interesting couple to say the least. Violet doesn’t know who his girlfriend is but she’s obviously jealous. Good! She should be!
  • Dell confronted Sam and blurted out that he loves Naomi and that he doesn’t know what Sam did to her, but every time she walks away from him she’s crying. Dell swears he would NEVER make Naomi cry. I truly believe that. I now have a new crush..Dell. *sigh* My husband says he’s just a baby. :)
  • Dell’s grandfather tells Sam and Dell to never stop fighting for something you want. Hmmmmm? What do they want? Yep, that’s right…they BOTH want Naomi now. They both head back to the office and lay a big one on Naomi. My favorite quote of the show, “He’s fighting for her.” This is Dell talking about Sam. This just got real interesting.

Okay, questions…

1. Who should Naomi choose? Dell, Sam or no one?

2. Who should Addison choose? Pete, the hot cop or her shower head?

3. Will Violet go after Cooper now?

4. Was this your favorite episode?

  1. Sacha Bellinger says:

Dell had me all a flutter last night. I so want Dell to be with Naomi. I think he could truly make her happy. Dell only wants to love her. She needs to get over the age thing. Dell is so much more mature then Sam

  2. Julie says:

Me too Sacha! He definitely seemed like a man and not a boy on this episode. I go back and forth between who I think she should pick. That Dell though, oy, he’s just great. :)

  3. Milly says:

I don’t know which one for her to pick. But both of them are really hot. Also i think that Addison should go with Pete. You know they both like each other, they just need to both admit it to each other and get over it.

  4. Julie says:

I agree Milly. Addison and Pete would be great.

  5. Sacha Bellinger says:

I’m thinking Sam is only now ready to fight because of Del’s confession. I don’t think Sam really wants Naomi. I think he just doesn’t want Dell to have her. Sam & Naomi may have history, but it is not all good history. I think Dell has a great chance of getting with Naomi. She is attracted to him.

  6. An says:

I agree with Sacha in that Sam & Naomi have history and chemistry. Because of that I think Naomi will choose Sam. But, I’d love her to briefly spend time with Dell. Unfortunately, unless they up his intensity, he still seems too boyish for a longterm relationship with a divorced, business owning, mother of 1 :) You know what, maybe she should forget both of them and find some other hot hunks :)

  7. Lynn says:

so what does this have to do with “Grey’s Anatomy New?”

  8. Allison says:

I so want Dell to have Naomi I love dell he is the best choice for her and I really don’t care about the age difference if you love someone go after them TEAM DELL All the Way!!!!
