Grey’s Anatomy Season Finale Spoilers
Here’s some interesting tidbits regarding the season finale of Grey’s Anatomy, “Didn’t We Almost Have It All”, which airs May 17th. The title doesn’t sound very optimistic.
TV Addict posted the following spoilery facts about the finale, so stop reading now if you don’t want to know anything.
Ready?
Okay here goes:
- A new chief will be appointed at Seattle Grace
- Callie and George will make a big decision about their relationship
- The episode will revolve around not only Cristina and Burke’s wedding, but our favorite interns’ first exam results as well
- One intern will not do nearly as well as they expected
Ready to start speculating?
I really hope that for everyone’s sake, Callie and George end that marriage. I really like Callie and watching George and Izzie skirt around their feelings for one another is painful to watch.
Who do you think the new chief will be? Not Addison, since she’s likely leaving for her own show. So that leaves Burke, McDreamy, and McSteamy, or someone else entirely. Thoughts?
Who might not do well on their exams? My first thought is Cristina since she’s the one with the highest expectations…
Guess we’ll find out in a couple of weeks.
Tomorrow is the big 2-hour sort-of-pilot for Addison’s big show. Everyone ready?

I like this title! You know what’s going to happen is they are going to leave us in a wirlwind of anticipation. I almost don’t want to guess at what happens!
I don’t think it’s Christina that messes up on the exam simply because she has Callie’s flash cards, but then again that could be the big shocker! Also, I could be really behind on this, wasn’t there a rumor about Izzie leaving? Because I know George mentioned in the last episode that he put in for a transfer, and if Izzie really is leaving, it seems like she would be the one to actually transfer. But I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!

I heard that 3 people will be leaving the show this season. Addison we already know because of the spin-off and George announced last week that he’s transferring but I also heard that Burk is going to walk out on his wedding to Christina. Can you believe it?!
My source actually said that George would be leaving because he did poorly on the exam and didn’t want to re-do his internship. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I agree about George & Calli’s wedding, I hope they end it because it’s not fair to her. George needs to be a man and do what is right.

If Derek becomes chief I think Mer is going to get the short end of the stick just like Richard says. Wouldn’t it be crazy if they offered it to Bailey?! She’s the only one that is really showing leadership skills lately. I know she’s not an attending but still. It’d be a shocker! :D

the 3 people that may leave are Addison (we all know), Callie, & here comes the big DUH…Chief is the last one leaving. I think George will cahnge his mind

The rumor here is George does poorly and leaves and Burke gets passed over for Chief and leaves. I think it would be awesome if Bailey gets Chief.

I think the one pregnant will be Callie. But SURPRISE it will be McSteamy’s! Thats the reason she and George will split. Cause in the episode on Apr 19 (I think) Callie was looking for George to have coffee with her (while he was with Izzy having her bone marrow stuff done) and she was acting all tired and sick and stuff. TOTALLY pregnant. And I say Bailey won’t be chief because who would take care of the interns?

I think that the 3 people leaving are
1. Addison
2.Callie or maybe Burke
3.The “Old Chief”
Calllie isn’t likly to become pregnat b/c the show is really only showing Izzie’s point of view (through her feelings towards George & how it’s not fair speech in the elevator)The show is not giving me a reason to want Callie to be w/ George.I like the idea of Callie & George ending it, b/c Izzie is pregnat. But Unfortuntly I don’t believe thats gonna happen b/c then the show will not be about Grey’s Anatomy. It will become the struggle of Izzie and George raising a child and getting married.
I don’t know about Burke & Christina, b/c i think the most drama will be in the George/Callie Relaionship.
Izzie is not going to do well on her exams.B/c we exspect her to do well, She paid her way through Med school by modeling!& b/c of the distraction of George/Callie thingg.
But I dont know.

um, Linda, I believe Jennifer was referring to Callie being sick, not Izzie. Although I don’t think Callie was sick because she might be pregnant, she was tired from work. As for the season finale, I looking forward to it, but I’m not. I predict they will give us a cliff hanger with Mer/Der, and of course that will make me insane. Don’t they know how long the summer is? Can’t they not take a break, and film continuously so we can watch Grey’s every night?!

No. The Most Annoying Doctor in the World will become chief. The cheerful one who was properly diagnosing patients while everyone else was off being angsty or sleeping with each other.
Merideth will flunk because of all the trauma she’s been through.
If George leaves, McSteamy will transfer his attention to Callie.
Christina is becoming a better doctor than Burke, plus she’s younger and in many ways less angry. She’s better off without him. She may hook up with the Chief.

the three that r leaving are:
1. Addison *sniff*
2. Callie because she finds out about George and Izzie and Izzie is maybe pregnant
3. The Chief! hes the third everyone keeps saying they dont know who the third person is but its him!
if its possible the chief position will go to Bailey but if not probably Derek bc that wouold make for a good show him struggling between being chief and Meredith and all. Jane Does husband comes and Alex is sorta sad bc he liked her or he found out she was jus pretending no to remember things bc she liked him. Cristina and Burke get to the altar and then burke walks out and the interns are all standing there shocked and the show ends like that.

ok so heres the DEFINITE spoilers:
-addison leaves because she wants a “better life” (obviously in in Los Angeles)
- George is the one that fails his med exam and decides he doesnt want to repeat intership again so he’s leaving the show
- burke finds out he didnt get picked for cheif and walks out on the wedding (aww poor christina!! :(

ok so here are my thoughts::
hopefully george and callie end their marriage and george STAYS at seattle grace cuz i love his character and think its beneficial to the show, plus they cant afford to lose another one since addison is gone.
i think that bailey will become the next chief because she is the one most likely for the job even though shes not fighting for it as hard as everybody else. christina is probably gonna be the one who fails her exams cuz shes always the one who think she did it perfectly… or maybe alex, one of them maybe.

I bet Cristina will fail the exam! It would such a shocker since she always brags that she’s the best (dont get me wrong Cristina is my favorite with Mer) and can you imagine the shame of having to do her internship again as everyone moved on. It could be a great twist.
The new chief will be Bailey, I think. She deserves it. And I believe Webber made his decision a long while ago.
The ones who will leave: Callie, once she finds out what happened with Izzie
The chief, he wants to retire after all.
Burke because…I cant say why. I doubt he will walk out of the wedding because I have heard a while back that of the wedding one would stick. It obviously wont be the one of George and Callie…so…

I think that what you all said is creative, and some parts of it might just be it. In my opinion, the reasonable thing to asume is that:
Richard Webber, the Chieff, leaves, otherwise there would be no need for a new one.
Addison leaves, the spinoff, to California.
And Callie. Callie leaves because she knows that George doesn´t really love her, so she leaves with Addison to California.
Burke marries Cristina (He practically FORCES her) and he gets appointed chieff of surgery.
And of course, Izzie fails. Cristina is too damn good for it to be believable and Mer is just too damn obvious. She would be the one we would expect to flunk. And, she got another shot.
Alex failed once before. If he failed again what kind of doc is he going to be? George could be. It´s between Izzie and George.
And that is what I think. I hope George does not leave, he has something real with Izzie. But, he has to be a man and confess to Callie. Cheating is never a good thing, never. Not even for true love. That marriage is a farse, but still…

I am only 14 and know whats going to happend. T.R is going to fail his exam and leave Seattle Grace. Isaiah is going to walk out on Sandra on the wedding, and Ellen, and Patricks relationship is going to end. Patrick also makes cheif, and Kate is also leaving the show.

There are two positions:
1) Chief of Surgery — the only possible applicants on the show are Mark, Derek, and Burke (Addison’s out because of the spinoff). MAYBE Colin, but he appears to have surrendered his petition for the position. There’s also Mr Outside Hire, to be introduced next season.
2) Chief Resident — This could be Callie, Bailey, or Doctor Chipper. None of them have finished their residency, so they cannot be Chief of Surgery. Bailey’s in the drivers seat here, but Doctor Chipper getting the position would generate some nice Bailey-centric drama on the show.
The above story on I Am Not Obsessed quotes the National Enquirer as it’s source. Sorry, it’s not credible. At all.
I could see Burke or George leaving the show after the on-set drama this season, but not both. If one of them were to go, I’d say it’s Burke.
Callie, as a character, exists to supplement George in his post-Meredith frustration. If George stays on the show, Callie’s gone (they’ll be developing the George/Izzy story next season). If George leaves the show, then Callie goes too (she’s no longer necessary — or interesting).
In other words: Callie’s leaving. Period.

I think that Izzie will be pregnant with George’s child but she’ll tell him after Callie tells George she’s pregnant with George’s child too. It would make for a great crisis. Meredith will have to fight to keep Derek’s interest now that he realize’s the Chief is putting Meredith first because of his promise to Ellis. I think Thatcher will go mad and attack Meredith and who will save her life…maybe McSteamy. Richard and Adele will get back together and she loses the baby. They adopt. Anyone know why they show Izzie’s daughter 1 week and then she’s out of the picture?

Okay, THIS is what’s going to happen…Richard will decide to remain chief. Why not since he and Adele have split? George finds out about Callie and McSteamy, Callie finds out about George and Izzy, that cancels each other out but results in Callie and George divorcing. We’ll be left hanging in regards to McDreamy and Meredith. We’ll be left hanging regarding what happens at Christina and Burke’s wedding. AND Bailey has an affair with Richard. Oh why not!!!

Further more I think that the whole Burke and Christina wedding thing is causing second thoughts and eventualy may end with Burke taking off. They need a way to get him out of there after all of that drama behind the scenes with George this year!!!!

I think that Adele obviously lost the baby in the last episode (didn’t you see her bleeding?). Addison is definitely leaving the show, there is absolutely NO chance that Meridith is leaving the show, she is the star. I think the Christina and Preston(Dr.Burke) won’t get married because it is so obvious that Christina is not into the fact that she is getting married. I think she isn’t ready and Burke is, and as everyone knows nothing goes smoothly in Grey’s Anatomy, something is bound to happen at the wedding tonight, I think that Burke will either a.) leave the chapel at the end of the show or b.) someone will have a heart attack or some unusual medical issue will occur.
i think meridith will fail her exams, they even showed her paper on the last episode, she skipped almost every question.
Callie and George NEED to get a divorce, it is obvious that they were not meant to be together and that George loves Izzie, not Callie.
I also think Izzie is carrying George’s baby.

Why does everyone assume that there are three leaving? We know that cheif is leaving and addison but the only other possibility is Callie. I really don’t expect T.R. to leave. If any one needs to leave it is Burke. I know that will upset Cristina but he has caused soo much contraversy and just because TR was targeted shouldn’t ruin his best role ever!

Sooo glad that Derrick wised up and told Meredith that she was the love of his life! About time again. Izzie and George definitely together, and let Calllie and McSteamy get together. Alex needs to find Ava, and Christina, deserved to be happy, but not forced to change. If Burke didn’t love her for who she was, he was wrong for her. Bailey should have gotten chief resident, but glad to see Richard staying

Very disappointed in the finale plot. One or 2 cliffhangers would be enough. No viewer wants all the characters left up in the air! It insults our intelligence. I know of no groom who ever would leave his bride at the church. Burke should have been a no-show. That’s the way men show disdain for the bride. He’s too exacting with everyone. And men don’t flee like that, that’s very feminine writing. They marry and expect the woman to become what they want. That would have been a real challenge to Christina. To have the next person involved with McDreamy be Meredith’s half sister is weird. I hope they keep George on next season. He’s very soulful. Sometimes good writing means he stays with Callie while he truly loves Izzy. Doing the right thing makes for drama if it conflicts with what the character wants for themselves. Glad we’ll have a break for a while!

I’m glad George is leaving…he’s such a wuss. And Burke…I hate that he’s leaving, but hopefully he’ll find another job. I’m not even sure how the show will be since characters we’ve come to know and love/hate are leaving the show.
I have this feeling that George may end up staying.
Izzie needs to be kicked. I don’t see how she’s all in love with George.

Personally, I think both Burk and George will return. If Isiah was going to be punished by ABC, it would have happened last fall. Likewise, if T.R. was so upset, he would have left then. The Lexie Grey entrance will be interesting, but she better not try to get her hooks into Derek. Shonda, that would be toooo much. George should stay with Callie–he has been much more mature and a man for a change since he married her. Izzie is always falling for someone. How can Geo be like a brother all this time and suddenly she’s in love?? With Addison leaving, McSteamy will turn his attention to Meredith as he has tried twice before. Shonda needs to hire a good male psychiatrist to treat Meredith and Izzie. How about Ian Zering?? He is about the right age and was adorable on Dancing… Eva (Jane Doe) will surface again for Alex although how they could work her into the hospital, I don’t know. Anyway, next year should keep up glued to our seats. Shonda, just don’t mess with Derek and Meredith!

I just want to say that I miss Dr. Burke. I do not think that Grey’s Anatomy should have let him go. What he said was not that bad and it could have been over looked, the media just blew everything. I think Dr. Burke was actually one of the best actors if not the best actor Greys Anatomy has had. His charater was great, but I want to know why he can’t come back this year or at least try to replace him, but I am not sure if that will be possible. Dr. Burke really added something to the show and without him the show is ok, but kinda boring. Please do something about it. Many people have sopped watching your show bcause Dr. Burke got fired. I want Dr. Burke back or you may also lose many viewers

How dare they end the season with Callie kissing another woman!!! They should have left her the way she was when she first came on the show. She is different, but normal. Why did they have to reduce her makeup? Why couldn’t she have stayed with Dr McSteamy? Where the tiny weenie winers crying so much that had to destroy her???????????? We derserve normal couples on the show. If you continue to have the two larger women on the set become gay we will never watch the show again. I will also promote to boycot it in my workplace and everywhere I go. She belongs to McSteamy, everyone can see that you big dummys!!!!!!!
