Well, the countdown is on until tonight’s episode. The Grey’s Anatomy crew have taken us on quite the emotional ride in the past two episodes, so I can only imagine what’s in store for our poor little hearts tonight. Not long now before we find out for sure!

ok…I am so excited for the show tonight. My prediction is that Meredith is dead and with the 2 hot dead guys when her mom somehow appears (meaning she dies from her heart surgery) and they solve their issues and she sends Meredith back.
Just my guess! Wanted to put it in writing before the show started! LOL.

It already aired tonight here in Canada… Meredith Lives, her mother dies… and the episode.. is amazing!!!!

Chris, what happens to Burke?? Is Meredith alive and awake by the end of the epi?? Where do you live in Canada so that you got this already? (I hope you’re not pulling a fast one on us, that would just not be cool.)

I live in Canada as well. Meredith lives and her mom dies. I live in Toronto, Canada. Izzie gets into an argument with George b/c of something to do with his wife or something alongs those lines….

it airs on CTV here in Canada, and they play it at 8pm, because the station also carries CSI at 9pm.. so we get Grey’s first…
And for those of you on the west coast who still havent seen it, Denny plays a big role in this episode, and he’s wonderful… and there is a scene with him and Izzie at the last five minutes that will make you weep!

That episode was awful! I’m so shocked - I expected hokey but that was truly ridiculous! Oh Gray’s… what have you done to this show.
I’m really surprised at how bad that was.

I thought the epoisode tonight was very interesting. I live in Alberta and I saw the episode at 5:00. CANADA ROCKS!!
Anyway, Merideth resolves her issues and actually admits to Denny that she gave up swimming…she basically admitted that she wanted to die..but with the help of a bunch of dead people, she realized she wanted to fight to live. I think her and Derek’s relationship will be smooth sailing for awhile…but you know something is going to come up in the future that will cause more turmoil in their relationship…and the circle continues. The only part I was disapointed with was the part where he finally sees her after she comes “Back to life” and they dont really say much to one another…I was expecting I love you’s as they have never said that to one another at the same time thoughout the show…but I guess a near death experience wasn’t the right time either. Oh well..maybe next week. Overall excellent 3 part episode..this one will be hard to outdue.

You know, a lot of this was really predictable. The only part that really got to me was the last minute or so, the scene with Denny and Izzie. That was amazing. Katherine did such an amazing job and projecting emotion. You could see in her eyes the unexpected shock of suddenly feeling Denny’s presence, and then the almost pure joy that she felt as she basked in that moment of “touch”. And then the sadness in her as she continued onward down the hall….

OMG….u people who say that This Grey’s episode was the worst…NO…this was the best one ever…or close to it…I loved it. It had me in tears…LOL…But I just can’t wait to see what happens in the next episodes….

I loved thid episode. I’m so happy that Mer lives. I cired with Derek. I luaghed when Mer said “Ouch”. I also cried when Izzie and Denny stood next to each other. I’m sad about Mer’s mom but I’m glad that she told Mer that she wasn’t ordinary. Can’t wait til March 15th for the new episode.

The thing with Denny and Izzie OMG! Priceless. I held my breath. Beautiful, especially when his beautiful mouth said Izzie. OOOOOOOOh boy! I’m glad Mer got some closure with her mother, but I think she will always be kinda dark and twisty. The only thing with the episode was they didn’t leave you hanging for the March episode. Usually you are held in suspense like CRAP!!!!! How can they end the show now???
I am glad to see that Mer did live and that Cristina finally got to tell her she is engaged (not like she will stay that way long). I thought it was neat that Cristina let Izzie give her a hug though (because we all know she hates human contact) and I love the little shopping spree she went on ( luv that dollar store, great for depressed shoppers)Oh well.. until March then

I disagree with everyone saying it was a bad episode!! I loved it! It went along with a lot of the speculation from the past week, so if you had read any of that, you shouldn’t have been surprised about things that happened. I loved it. It mirrored “It’s a Wonderful Life” but in its own way. Loved it!

AWESOME EPISODE!!! If anything you have to see it for that last moment before the show ends between Izzy and Denny. I’m sure some of us have felt that way before over someone we have lost.

Anyone who hated this eppisode is really dumb. It was awesome. I mean come on! The Izzy and Denny moment was amazing. I loved that Mer and her mom talked and that Denny was in almost the whole show. I love him and I missed him so so much. How long does everyone think Mark and Addie will last?

Well this is how Denny returned, Meredith temporarily dies,pretty much where she is just ‘in between’, and Denny, the bomb dude and Bonnie (the girl who had the pole stuck in her in the “into you like a train’ episode. When Mer temporarily dies she sees Denny and them. That is how Denny comes back. IT was absolutely amazing.

Stupid. Disappointing. Hokey. Shark jumpingly bad. I never believed for a minute they’d kill off Meredith, so I just felt jerked around the whole episode. And that whole Ellis/Meredith afterlife reconciliation was too much. Between this and Studio 60 going off the air, I don’t know what I’m going to watch anymore. Maybe it’s time to get cable.

I loved this episode, though it was kind of predictable. The best part I thought was the arguement Callie and Izzie had. Callie had no right to say anything to Izzie about Denny or Meredith. I really dont like Callie that much. And Izzie and Burke are my favorite Characters. Burke put on an extreme performance last night. Izzie made me cry when she and Denny were in the same place. I wanted to cry. That and when she went into the locker room where George was, I think Izzie is a true friend. I hope George picks Izzie over Callie. Over all i loved this episode, not yet the best ever. But damn near close to the best. I LOVE ME SOME DENNY

It was a good show but why am I the only person who thinks Izzie behaves like a self-centered, spoiled rotten, little brat? Callie is George’s WIFE. Have some respect you little jerk.

Izzie was there when Callie wasnt, the entire Denny issue george was there. Izzie is a true friend, I think Callie is using her married status to george as an excuse to think she knows Meredith, Cristina and Alex. She knows neither. George is Izzie best friend. Like izzie said, its just a paper, it doesnt make history. Izzie, Meredith and Alex and Cristina were there in the beginning, and will be in the end. And Callie so want. I so hope Izzie and george make up, it will ruin my experience watching the show if they are mad at each other. Callie uses her marriage to george as a support. She;s tellin him to choose Izzie or her. Thats just not right. SHe is so wrong.

I thought the episode was great, but they stopped it for commercials too many times. I’d be watching it and then two minutes later another commercial break would come, it drove me crazy!

I think this episode was great. I’ve gone back on abc.com and watched it probably 10 times… but the most mind blowing, breath taking scene at the very end is just incredible. I’ve rewinded and seen that part maybe over 30 times and it never gets old. I’ve looked everywhere on the internet to find the song when that happens. “swans” by unkle bob. but I cant find it so if anyone knows where it can be dowloaded or bought leave a message. But i really liked to see how Cristina reacted towards this and this episode was not about the mer/der relationship, but more about the mer/christina relationship. It really shows how strong christina has become since the GSW to burke shoulder last season. She ran away from that. She ran away from mere when she was sick, and know because of christina coming back and ordering bailey to “try again” meredith survives. Really also if Derek hadnt gone and spazzed out at ellis about calling mere ordinary, Ellis would not have died and told meredith to go back. And it also adds a whole lot of closure to ellis and mere. I personally adored this episode.

Were Richard’s comments to Ellis Grey, Mer’s mom, changed from the original airing to the streaming on-line ABC video replay? I thought he originally said he’d dyed his hair for her and alluded that Mer was his daughter. No?

I JUST saw the episode, (i live in Holland) and we’ll Europe’s a little behind.. And I’m sooo glad Meredith lives, but i haven’t seen it on television yet, i’ll see it next week.. can’t wait!
