Music from Drowning on Dry Land

by Ingrid Diaz on February 16th, 2007

Some of you might be curious about the music playing in last night’s episode. So here’s a few of them, while I track down the rest.

If you’re looking for the song from the very beginning (when Meredith is struggling in the water - and later when the doctors are trying to save her), you’re looking for: “A Bitter Song” by Butterfly Boucher.

The song playing during Izzie’s drilling, when Meredith and McDreamy emerge from the water is “Timeless” by Kate Havnevik. You might remember her song “Grace” from the soundtrack.

The song playing when Izzie is doing surgery is “The Great Escape” by Patrick Watson.

Now I tried to get the songs from iTunes but the only one I could find was “The Great Escape.”

If anyone knows where you can purchase the rest of the music, please let me know and I’ll edit here with the info!

You can download Bitter song at itunes stores. Just do a power search and put in the artist and song and it comes up as a single to download to your ipod.
