Grey’s Anatomy Spoilers for “Some Kind of Miracle”
That title sounds promising. It would be better if it were “Some Kind of “Mer-acle” … hehe.
Came across some more spoilers for next week’s episode. Nothing about Meredith or anything, but at least it’s something.
Here’s what SpoilerFix has on the subject:
A man, who waits for his wife who has been hit by a car, discusses with a woman named Carol, who is there for her father, about how doctors don’t keep family members much updated on the status of their sick loved ones. A young man named Lucas lies in a hospital bed after a car accident. Lucas can hear and comprehend what doctors tell him but they cannot understand a word coming out of his mouth.

who cares if her mum dies, she’s mean either ways. I was expecting a major charcter. If only Mer’s mum dies, it means they wasted 3 days of hope.
oh well I guess its okay.

I think what is going to happen is that meredith will wake up,but she will have some sort of brain damage,where she can’t remember Derek or their life together….They will fall in love all over again!!! what do you think?

I literally get tears in my eyes thinking that mere might die. she just cant. i know some people find her annoying, but i really love her character, and of course im a huge fan of mer/der. i will be devestated if she’s gone, and honestly, i might stop watching the show. i really believe and hope she will live, for the shows sake. MEREDITH!!!

My husband and I were DEVASTATED last night. Merideth cannot die. We will not watch the program if this is the case. All during the show, I was tense and didn’t care what happened on the show until they FINALLY realized Merideth was in the water all this time.
Both my husband and I were terribly upset and tense at bedtime. I awoke this morning thinking of Merideth. I hated last night’s segment!!!!! Yes, and I DID cry!

My husband drove me crazy last night while watching the show saying Merideth was dead. After finding out the story line my daughter (who missed last weeks show) insisted she get caught up by watching the recorded version we had. We both agree if they kill Mer off we have no reason to watch the show. I believe they should use this time to allow Mer to communicate with Denny let him know how much he is missed and where his money was spent. Keep her in A coma they can even have her mother die and they can meet up and allow themselves some closure for their past.

If this were real life she would definitely have brain damage. Maybe Derek will save her life in that way… Or, perhaps she will need a new organ, her mother will die, and she will be saved with an organ donation from her mom. She cannot die, it would just be too sad!

i heard that Mer gets put into a coma and then comes back to life later on. there is no way that they can kill off the character that the show is named after… this will plummet the ratings and they dont want that, especially during sweeps month.

i’m putting money on her not dieing
in every episode/miniseries there is always a foreshaddowing by meredith, this one, in part 1 was about “medical miracles” cancer going away, tumors evapotating, oh and let’s guess Mer will wake up randomly and this will be a “medical Miracle” ending with an “i told you so” from Mer
and i think this is being done to compete with the last episode of the OC, and killing Meridith would have the “mischa effect” and look what happened there, killed the main charachter and the show TANKED

yeah, i’ve heard about being submerged in FREEZING cold water for long amounts of time and people surviving. it has to do with your body system reacting and basically, shutting off, only running the blood through the brain, to utilize the oxygen. its in freezing cold water, which stimulates the body going into…like a hibernation and the water she went into was freeezing… She’ll be okay, she has too (maybe some organ failure, but shes going to live) she has to live
and also, she wasn’t in the water for that long, i mean…she was, but like 10 -15 minutes, because of the week difference and going back and forth between various stories with all the interns.

Here’s my theory: Meredith and Denny and the Bomb Guy are hanging out and Mer is watching what’s going on. They’re having their lovely bonding Dead World time. Meanwhile, Mer’s mom has her surgery and dies, unbeknownest (sp?) to Meredith until Ellis shows up in the Dead World with Meredith. Mer finally gets to talk to her mom without her mom being sick. They reconcile and Meredith is revived. That’s just the idea I had.

I believe this episode comes full circle with her relationships with men and with her parents. Meredith has no bases to form any lasting relationship with anyone. Her parents left her and she feels that even a relationship with a man will leave her alone. This whole episode is created to show people that they do make a difference in others lives. Kinda like a Wonderful Life, Meredith will get to see that she does matter. I think all her issues will be resolved. It will get her out of her dark period.

First of all, Grey’s Anatomy, is a REAL medical text book, not just the name of this show.
I was surprised that they have Meredith dead, but I don’t think that will stop the show. It will give it a new twist. If they do bring Meredith back then will be an interesting twist as well. Death from hypothermia leaves much more damage than just brain damage. There is cellular breakdown in many organs, and much more. I can’t wait to see how they explain this one away.

I don’t think she’ll die either. Maybe Ellen is looking to back off but not leave the show entirely. They could do the whole Desperate Housewives thing since she’s already doing the lead-ins and lead-outs. She could still do these.
Regardless, if they don’t kill her off the character needs a complete reinvention and this would be a good way to accomplish that.

Guys, it’s as simple as this…
Meredith is the main character, even more the narrator of the show. The television company would lose soooo much money if she died and they had to replace her. They would run the risk of people not liking the new narrator (even if it was one of the the other interns) and therefore stop watching the show. It’s too much of a risk for such a HUGE show.
In conclusion, meredith will NOT die next thursay night. I will put money on it.
anyways, christina is such a loner they wouldn’t take away her one true female friend. Could u imagine Christina and Izzie? nooope.

Meredith is not going to die. I like the full cirlce theory with some closure with her Mom in the afterlife before she herself is returned to the real world. Hypothermia slows down the body’s metabolism. Hypothermia is used in asphyxiated infants to preserve and protect the most vital organ, that being the brain. Meredith can be down for 20 minutes with a core temp of 81 degrees (mentioned several times) and come back from it. Intact and still the same Dr. Grey…that’s the question?

She is so stupidly in love with Mcdreamy. Love is one thing but she is a good Doctor and no one in the world would treat there medical career like its a GED PROGRAM. She act like she doesn’t care about being a good doctor. Like she’s just there because her mom was a doctor and she is smart.

Ok, the show is called Grey’s Anatomy, the name of the text book is Gray’s Anatomy. They cannot kill of Meredith Grey mainly because the show is named after her. If Ellen Pompeo were to decide to leave the show, they would have to cancel the show or rename it….VERY UNLIKELY….and weve all seen how drasticly the OC plumeted in ratings i don’t think shonda would want that to happen to her show….. i have also read that it is not meredith who dies it is her mum…..does anyone have any thereos about who is having a baby?????? could it be callie because she has some sort of big secret…..or maybe meredith although unlikely…or addison ???

I don’t think they will kill Mer because she is like the biggest character. I mean, the show is named after her. Plus, not that many people would watch if she died. If you look at the OC, they killed of Marrisa, one of the biggest characters, and now the show’s ending.

My theory is that McDreamy is going to die in a car accident. He’s going to leave the hospital thinking Meredith is dead (right before “those know-it-all, stubborn interns” revive her). Remember the How to Sava a Life preview video? Remember the car crash in it? Shonda refers asks what will Derek be if he “can’t save a life” in her blog. Also, Shonda has a thing for killing off hunky men with names starting with a D.

More reasons why it’s McDreamy who dies:
1) He’s the most likely star to want to leave the show.
2) That’s a “devasting conclusion.” Meredith’s Mom dying is not devastating.
3) Next week’s show is evidently all about car crashes.
4) How else can Meredith move on. Derek can’t be her savior. This is the only way for her to become a new person.
5) The promo for next week starts talking about Derek not Meredith.

Don’t fret-Mer will not die!
1)Mom will die during heart surgery, she will reunite with Mer in heaven (which will drag out the entire episode) but the two will make peace as her mom will be of sound mind. Mer will go back as “One death sticks, one doesn’t” Mer will come back peaceful and be o.k. with Derek that she’s making the right decision to be with him because her Mom (in heaven) gives her blessing.
2) Callie will be exposed as a bisexual from her college days.

My guess is that either Callie or George is gonna die, which would make Izzie’s last line (about George’s “mistake”) dramatically huge (why THAT line at THAT moment otherwise??).

here are some of my personal theories:
1 - mer cant die so it was said on one of the spoilers that one death sticks and one doesnt and i honestly donet think she will be the one
2 - it could be elis meredith’s mom she probably dies on the operating table and meets up with meredith in sexy land w/ denny and dylan and her mom tells her she loves her and blah blah blah
3 - maybe it could be the chief? i mean he is gonna retire right? and his wife was w/ another man so maybe he kills himself thats just a guess i really dont know and i hope he wouldnt do that but it’s just a guess.
back to the denny thing though i think that maybe denny and mer have a heart to heart talk and he tells her its not your time yet or whatever and he probably tells her to say something to izzy ( i read somewhere that he was gonna be in a couple more episodes )
anyways i cant wait until thursday only 2 more days YAY!!!! i just hope they dont wait til the end of the show to let us know who dies :(

TR knight was convinced not to leave the show and i am fairly sure that Ellen Pompeo is currently filming episodes along with Patric Dempsey and i believe that ellis will die and the devastating part will be be, not that she dies but that Meredith has so many unresolved conflicts with her. Also that would bring up another conflict for the chief, possibly convincing him to stay to keep ellis’ surgical spirit on livin. maybe…
oh and like i said before i think that Addison is going to be the one to save Meredith. you can tell because at the end of lasst week before she flat lined. Addison was trying to think of other ways to save her.

I do not think that Mer will die, It may be that the one that dies is the child of the women that alex found the baby could die that would be the second death. I do not think that Ellis Grey is a shocker if she was the one. I’m reading that we will be shocked as to who does die. Wonder if it is the Cheif? or Izzie?

Callie being pregnant would definitely sort of explain why she’s been such a total bitch to George lately.
I think Ellis will die, but it doesn’t fit all of the dramatic lines and things the show has been giving us.

People, People, People! Seriously! You’re all talking about brain damage. Well first off, during Drowning on Dry Land, every so often throughout the 43 minute period, they showed Meredith sinking,…insinuating that the events were taking place simultaneously. So, while she was under water, she wasn’t under for that long. Secondly, she did have oxygen from the moment Derek started giving her mouth to mouth. And whoever you are that talked about the doctors saying she’d had 4 “epi”s and had been down for twenty minutes, Dr. Burke (and someone else before him) was squeezing the oxygen into her (anyone catch the big yellow thing Dr. Burke was holding). She was intibated during the time at the hospital and got mouth to mouth from the scene. Seriously people, think clearly, don’t be stupid. Be observant to everything, not just this and that!

This is sooo crazy, I’m freaking out. I can’t believe that Mer is gonna die, she can’t.
It makes me cry when I think how sad Derek would be.. no no no, Shonda can’t do that to us. She isn’t that cruel..
shit if Meredith dies. I’m so in love with her and merder of course.

We are eight friends inPalos Verdes, CA who all started watching Grey’s at different times - most of us during the nd of season2 or beg. of season 3. We are all agrred on one thing, though, We we all stop weatching Gre’s if they kill off Meredith’s chracter. While all the actors do a great job, Ellen Pompeo brings a warmth and sense of humanity to Meredith that keeps ususcoming back week after week. BTW, Shonda, are you listening? We also strongly feel that it is the very chemistry between Derek and Meredith that makes Grey’s the beloved show it is. Don’t try plugging someone els in her place if you do kill Meredith. If you’ve already done this, you’ve made a HUGE error in judgement and gravely underestimated your fan base. Because, again, we may be only eight fans here but we have other friends who feel the same way - so, again, we are sorry to say that we will no longr be watching Grey’s after tonight if Meredith does not survive.

I heard a vicious rumor today when I was getting my hair cut that Meredith has been in a coma since the explosion after the bomb that was removed from a guys chest and nothing we’ve seen over the past however long has happened…Denny still alive, no engagements, no McSteamy, etc…I WILL QUIT WATCHING IF THAT IS TRUE!!!

I REALLY NEED TO KNOW THE NAME OF THE SONG THAT PLAYED AT THE END OF GREY’S ANATOMY EPISODE SOME KIND OF MIRACLE… WHEN IZZIE AND DENNY HAD A MOMENT AT THE VERY END OF THE SHOW… SOME OF THE LYRICS ARE … I WANTED TO TELL YOU I CHANGED, I WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT THINGS WOULD BE DIFFERENT THIS TIME, I SEE YOU YOU SEE ME, DIFFERENTLY…YOU TELL ME THAT YOU LOVE ME BUT YOU NEVER WANNA SEE ME AGAIN..
