Katherine Heigl Has Hope That The Cast Will Return to Normal
It’s time for the news of the Washington/Knight drama to fizzle out (assuming Washington doesn’t say anything else inappropriate for the rest of his life…)
ContactMusic is reporting that Katherine Heigl has hope that everything will be okay with the cast, and that so far, things are going well.
Heigl claims the cast usually gets along well and that the set felt “like work as usual” now that Washington has returned. The star, who has been a staunch supporter of her friend and castmate Knight, believes the appropriate measures were taken under the circumstances. She adds, “If it were ignored or just brushed under the rug, I would be angrier about it. But he’s trying very hard. We’re all trying very hard. “I, obviously, have been very verbal about all of this, but there isn’t a lot going on right now. We’re all hopeful.”
Guess we can all be hopeful too.

it’s great to know that there are still some actors that have a sense of integrity and honor. too many actors/celebrities make it all about the bucks and fame. Kudos to you Miss Heigl!

I love her character but I do not like how she is dragging this out stating she will “go down and fight for her friend.” blah blah its like the whole Kelly Ripa Rosie O’donell incident. Let it go! Im pretty sure TR wants to put this behind him and not be labeled the actor that got called a derogatory name. It also makes him look like he cant fend for himself.
