Wow, is all I can say, and I won’t say much more since I know there’s a whole bunch of you who haven’t seen the episode. So let’s contain the discussion in the comments.

OMG!!!! What a wonderful episode! It was intriguing as always. The last five minutes completely surprised us! I can’t wait until next week!!

Check out the pod cast on the ABC Grey’s Website. It gives interesting insight on what the writers are thinking. Its a good way to get a Grey’s fix between Thursdays! (Which I need almost daily)

Not looney at all…I’m right there with ya, sista :) I’ve watched the episode three times on my iPod today! The little girl has me a bit confused, I haven’t decided yet if she is real or not…anyone else thinking along those lines?

I’m pretty sure she’s real, although I’m not entirely convinced. But kinda spooky, huh? The way they showed her there and the next second, she’s gone?

Okay, first off that has to be the best episode of grey’s so far in all three seasons. I can’t wait until next week and the week after to see how this whole tragedy ends. And the thing with Mer in the water…WOW! I’m hoping this happens and so this is my prediction for next week’s episode…Der dives in the water and pulls Mer out, she lives and the whole marriage talk comes up again…my prediction this event will bring Mer and Der’s relationship to a whole new height…We can only hope!

I think the little girl is real, because there hasn’t really been any fantasy ghost type thing in grey’s yet…which I believe is good, because it keeps it from being a soap opera.

I really hope that der does dive in to save mer too!!!

This episode was unbelievable! I was shaking during the last five minutes knowing we won’t know what happens for a whole week.
Derek better dive into that water to save Meredith or it just wouldn’t be right.

According to the podcast with Shonda (who wrote the episode), Meridith “isn’t going to climb out of the water spitting out a fish”, it is apparently going to be something unexpected and shocking. I am on pins and needles and find when I am standing in line somewhere I am playing out various scenarios that could happen and still be unexpected. Anyway, I hope Derek dives in, but I think it’s too predictable. Also, I think Mer isn’t remotely ready for marriage so although he may be her “knight in shining whatever”, I don’t know if a marriage would make sense…and then, I could also be totally full of spit. I just can’t wait for Thursday!!!!

i loved this episode. mer falling the icy water at the end was totally unexpected…and alex was such a sweetheart with the lady who had a huge cement pillar on her…and it seemed rele intense with izzie and the guys who were trying to save the crushed man under the car… and george trying to find the sick lady’s son… and everything was just amazing…like i wanna fast forward to next thursday and then the thursday after that to see how this amazing episode will conclude… and im also rele confused of what the little girl is….shes rele creeping me out…she sees sumone fall in the water and then she just walks away….but on “scenes for next episode” it showed derek asking where mer was and she pointed to the water… so i think that mer will be saved… and also… i dont think derek will save her….i always think i no what is going to happen, but i am always rong, it would be kinda predictable if mer got saved by derek and lived happilay ever after…anyways…i could yap about this awesome ep till next ep…im counting down [4 days]

i think that, even though it is predictable, he will still save her. it is romantic, and wonderful and what most of their public wants, and as much as they like to break the rules of television, they also want to please their public. this would please them very much! i can’t imagine after the girl tells derek where meredith is that he doesn’t rip his coat off and jump in, i just don’t see that not happening, whether someone gets there first, its hard to say, but he will at least try. i definintely agree that this will bring them closer together as a couple, bring their relationship to a much deeper level, but i don’t think it will be marriage, they both have way too many issues to work through before i think they will be ready for that. i am truly dying until thursday comes.

I read in one of the spoilers that Grey’s was going to do something that we NEVER thought they would do… What if that is killing Grey??? I know I know, you think they would NEVER!!!

I loved this show and i am hoping mcdreamy does help mer. Also i doubt they would kill grey. And i like that little girl even if she i kinda wierd and alex was so great. it was kinda funny to see george and callie having their first fight. and does anybody get bugged by that sydney lady??? I heard that Denny is coming back? do you think it will be any time soon or wat i’m confused know and i can’t wait till thursday.

I can’t wait for later on because finally it is Thursaday thank god. But i think alex and that women have a connection because he saved her i think that is all. And mer or der can’t die i think shonda is just trying to freak us out. At least i am hoping that. I am going to go crazy for the next 14 hours

I read watch with kristin and she said that someone will die this week and next week but only one of them will stick!! If it is Izzie Der, or Mer I am boycotting the show!! I love them!! But I prolly wont ever stop watching the show!! But please don’t kill them off!!!
