T.R. Knight Leaving Grey’s Anatomy?
Bet this is nothing but a false rumor to stir things up, but here it is anyway. TMZ is reporting that an “inside source” claims T.R. Knight might be leaving Grey’s Anatomy due to his general unhappiness with the way the Washington/”F” word scandal was handled.
An inside source tells MSNBC that the openly-gay Knight is so “upset” and “disgusted” by the handling of the F-bomb situation that he’s going to quit the show. Originally, says the source, T.R. was told to keep his response to the incident on the DL, but when Washington stirred up the storm anew while backstage at the Golden Globes, Knight had no choice but to fire back. A show rep says Knight’s not going anywhere and that the rumors are “irrefutably untrue.”
True or false?
I’m betting on the latter.

I Love Dr. O’malley!!! He really makes the show, cause he has that little boy anxious attitude about him. He is great!!! The whole staff is great,,,, but, Dr. O’Malley really needs to hold his head up and stick through it cause he is fantastic…. everyone is!!!!!!!! I am a true fan of this show, and I honestly think that issues like this should not be a big deal for big time actors, ecspically if the percentage of response to this show is so powerfull. I live for my thursday nights to see what will happen next and pray that its not a re-run cause I am that hooked. I have also just started buying all the series… I am really looking foward to what comes next… love all of it!!! Fantastic show!!!!

Well, from what I gather from reports, everyone is signed to contracts for the next three years, so unless T.R. wanted to go to court and claim harrassment in the workplace, I don’t think he’s going anywhere.
Mind you, I don’t blame him if it’s true he’s unhappy with how the entire incident was handeled, but I’m sure he’d rather stay with a hit series than strike out and try to find another one.
Here’s to hoping that the atmosphere on set is a happier and healthier one for all concerned, that people make peace with one another, and that they are all better and wiser people following the recent unpleasant experiences.

I would hate to see our hero leave the the set. But if he does indeed leave for the reasons I suspect from what is hopefully a rumor, I will be heartbroken. Isn’t there enough problems with just being gay today?
We are supposed to be a society coming out of the old day BS, but T.R., I’ll support you whichever way it goes.
Unfortunately, in our section of society, in order to be gay and work, you have to be straight. It’s sad. THAT is the understatement of this fiasco. T.R., we’re with you!

George don’t go for the comments made. I will be on your side if there is any other stupid talk about gays. If you do leave, so be it. I know you have moxie to work on another network! And, if you don’t want TV, go back to the T.R. Knight on the stage. There is no shame in leaving (read that I have been caught up in this stupidity- albeit another industry).
Sue I’ll miss you should you leave. But for the statment you boldly procalimed, all of us in the “club” or “Friends of Dorothy”, can challenge themselves to be who they are, reguardless of who it may be.
T.R., you have done or community service! I wish could hug you right now. But obviously, we can’t/

I really hope that he isn’t. I have always found his character one of the most interesting, probably as I see my self in the the stories behind Dr. O’malley, but this ending has left me stunned with Berk gone and there being doubts of his return and Addison leaving for her own show “Private Practice” how can they get rid of George. I would have to say he can;t leave compleatly. With Callie becoming Chief, he would have to pop into the story and they can’t just change the actor. and leaving him talking to Meredith’s younger sister has to be the start of some sub plot of him having to be the mediator between them.
All i can say is PLEASE!!PLEASE!! DON’T GO!!!

Wow, George lost so much of his personality this season, but to see the love that he and Izzie have for one another has made this bearable. I truly believe that he should not leave the show and it will serve as nothing but a deficit if he does.
As for Isiah Washington, well, it just won’t be that much of a loss if he goes, especially with his flagrant disregard for a person’s right to choose.

I am extremely upset with the fact that george(t.r. knight) is leaving greys anatomy. This has always been my favorite my favorite show, its amazing. George has become my favorite character on greys anatomy and i think he’s an amazing actor. His character is funny and i KNOW that the show will be so different without him(not different in a good way though). although this is happening im still looking forward to the new season of greys anatomy. I have never had a show that i have watched for more than a season, now i’ve watched greys for 3 seasons now. I really hope that george changes his mind, comes back, and ends up with izzie!

T.R., it is a real heart breaking story recognizing the depth of not you character only, but for having the balls to mention on network TV that you’re gay. I did something lioke that is a night club once, but your departure decision I think will open doors open wide to you. As you are offered the myriad of scripts, I hope that you will remain devoted to you acting. If the part is for the “gay in requiem” is not just but a gay charactor, but a real and vital mental relief for all of your work.

oh i would be so sad without george! i love watching grey’s on DVR b/c there have been so many times i have rewinded once or even two times to hear and/or see something he has said or done. i hope now that IW is gone, all will be well on the grey’s set.

yes, I still have a mancrush for T.R., and that’s perfectly OK! I am down to earth enough to know that expecting a response is crazy but stranger things have happened before so I want to get my words read. Can’t fault a guy for expressing his truth!

Now, what to do about this latest horrible act of murder… Somebody.. Anybody point me in the right direction and give me marching orders… If we don’t keep the awareness of our collective outrage expand, we won’t get anywhere yet, we have to raise and continue to raise for the long term our unified voice to AMERICA.. This we’ll not stand! Ever!
