Isaiah Washington Meets President Bush
Isaiah Washington met President Bush and the First Lady last week during a benefit aimed at fighting Malaria.
The Grey’s Anatomy star met Bush for the first time on Thursday while emceeing the White House Summit on Malaria. Washington called the President “genuine” and tells PEOPLE the First Lady was “very warm… (the summit) is her baby.”
The half-day event, organized by Laura Bush, brought together world leaders bent on eliminating malaria, a curable and preventable disease that still kills 1 million people a year, many of them African children. Last year, the U.S. launched a five-year, $1.2 billion plan (www.fightingmalaria.gov) aimed at cutting malaria deaths in half in hard-hit Africa.
It’s nice seeing Isaiah Washington back on the news over positive things, as opposed to the whole drama that ensued before.

I dont see why everyone is so hyped up about the gay accusation. Yes things were said….Isaiah apologized. Life goes on. There are worse things in life that people need to worry about or bigger problems. The whole he called him a faggot thing is old. Find something else to gossip about. Seriously has anyone not said anything worse about another person and in the same career. If they fire him….greys will be no more, it wont be the same and the show WILL be cancelled. Leave it alone…..seriously. Enough is enough. He is dealing with it and shit happens!
