Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington Quarrel On Grey’s Anatomy Set
According to this article, Patrick Dempsey and co-star Isaiah Washington had a bit of a disagreement on set that almost “got out of hand.”
In a quote from People Magazine, Washington said, “We were like two baseball players . . . nose-to-nose. We had a difference of opinions while working on set but we’ve resolved it.”
But he added that the argument didn’t come to blows.
“Our faces are too beautiful for that!,” said Washington, who added that he discovered a new aspect of his costar during the altercation.
“I’ve never been that close to (Patrick) before. He has really pretty blue eyes.”
LOL.
I love the way they can finish with humor.
Anyone know what the spat was about?
Thanks, Duncan!

Why are we in such a up roar over this. I have more of a problem with TR being a Gay individual in real life and being a straight guy on the show. Being a gay person is something I am very proad of. In my opinion, they need to write TR’s being gay into the show.
Also, has anyone considered the actress he has to kiss. Does anyone think she may be afraid of being infected with HIV or AIDs.

Better brush up on your supposed “gay pride”…. and your spelling.
For the record, welcome to 2007 where we now know that AIDS is not spread by kissing, and that not all gay men are HIV positive.
Damn…with “friends” like you, who needs enemies?

Everyone makes mistakes. I hate that people were hurt and hope that with time, the apology will be well received. GA will recover but only if this is put to rest! And, if we all love the show enough, we will allow those who are affected by this resolve it among themselves. I would hate to see any of the cast leave, especiallyif there has been a heartfelt apology! I love all cast members and the show would not be the same without one of them!

I hear ‘ya, but exactly how many “heartfelt” apologies can one accept before one realizes that there is no remorse behind them?
Those “who are affected” have been hurt
enough to go public with it - finally - after all these months.
Do not let your enjoyment of the show blind yourself to the fact that a cast member is behaving abusively in the workplace.
If you care for the show, and the people on it, you’ll support T.R.
