I love the entire cast, really. Except for Alex. Honestly, I think that the show could easily drop him; he’s been dead weight since season 2 … and nothing more than lukewarm sex appeal that many people are getting bored of.

ok, I prolly couldnt stand losing any of them but here are my reasons.
1-Meredith-duh, she’s the lead and yes she is suppossed to be washedout and boring. They did that on purpose.

2-McDreamy-Hottie!!! And he’s a great actor who has a good impact on Meredith’s life

3-Izzy-she’s just awesome.

4-George-He annoys me a lil with the Meredith thing but he’s still a great guy

5-Addison-She brings a lot to the show and keeps it interesting.

6-Alex-I realize he is simply sex appeal right now, but he is finally showing a soft side for the neo-natal stuff.

7-McSteamy-Hottness…enough said

I couldn’t live without Dr. Miranda Bailey. She adds so much humor to the show and as “the nazi” she keeps the interns in line, while at the same time treating them like children. Think about how dry the show would be without all the humor from bailey. Everytime she yells at someone my mood gets lightened because you know deep down she cares. I don’t know. I just couldn’t do without her.

#1 charater is McDreamy he keeps the show in order and i really want to meet him so badly but i dont think i ever will. he has inspired me to become an actress when i grow up.
#2 is McSteamy he plays a sort of a cheater and evil part but,i love him.

Meredith. She’s so much like me, I’m dark and twisty and my life has been very much like hers…minus the internship (I have my own Mc Dreamy). Let’s just say, I can relate to her.I like Christina and George very much also and completely dislike Izzie. Izzie…I used to like her but she’s kind of a snob now and the way she dictate George’s life with Callie. I couldn’t stand someone like her, telling what’s good or not good for me.

Bailey and the Chief. I hope if the Chief really retires that he will still be around. He has so much wisdom and he instills a lot of humor too. I think Burke is arrogant and the way he treats Christina is terrible. I wish she would wake up and see him for what he is. A self-inflated jerk! Lately, I wouldn’t mind if Izzie takes a hike. She is outrageous. She is supposed to be a doctor, not some junior high school girl.

My all time favorite female character is Bailey and Cristina isn’t far behind, although I use to not care for her character at all. But no one tops Bailey!! She reps all of us vertically challenged people. (HAHAHAHA) My favorite male character will have to be George. Yeah he often has dumb spaced out looks on his face and at times totally clueless, but he has such a good heart and he always know what to say to keep things together. I like Chief too.
I don’t like Izzie anymore and I wouldn’t care if they got rid of her either. I use to like Burke but not anymore.

definitely MEREDITH! for those who whine about her personality, i think you should open you eyes. her character is “dark & twisty” not “perfect and unproblematic”. that’s why most of us can relate to her - we all have “dark & twisty” sides in all of us! and for me, this side of hers makes her all the more human, lovable and real :)

I must say that my favorite cast member is Izzie. After having watched her star in “Knocked Up,” I see her in a completely different light. To me, she no longer seems to be the inadequate, over-caring, and preoccupied intern that she was in most of the first three seasons. In the course of making a high-budget motion piture, her acting skills have definitely improved. Judging by the last shows of season 3 and this season’s premiere, she now seems able to “juggle” the way that the writers have sculpted Izzie’s character with her own vision of Izzie. And in my opinion, she has done a great job!

I will always pick Meredith.
She’s funny,gorgeous(well in real life, in the show she’s supposed to be this washed out person),and i think everybody has a dark and twisty side hidden somewhere, and meredith is woman enough to show it..
All those bright and shiny people annoy me,because no matter what you do, you’ll never be completely bright and shiny.

I miss Burke. (though I’m totally annoyed with what he did) The show’s just not the same without him.
