Shonda Rhimes Lands $10 Million Deal

The Grey’s Anatomy creator has landed a two-year deal with Touchtone TV for a nice little sum of $10 million.

This ranks Shonda Rhimes at the top of industry as TV writer-producer.

The premium contract reflects the importance of her red-hot medical drama to the studio as well as ABC, which is banking on the show to revive its fortunes next season according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Way to go Shonda!
