Grey’s Anatomy’s Thursday Night Comptetitors

According to the recent network fall lineup announcements, Grey’s Anatomy will be going up against NBC’s new show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and FOX’s The OC.
My guess is that NBC will quickly backtrack on their decision to place their big-hit hopeful Sunset against the popularity of Grey’s Anatomy. Let’s face it, that would be dumb. I’m pretty sure there was a collective gasp among the NBC execs when ABC said, “Ah, you’re putting Sunset on Thursdays at 9? Lovely. We’ll raise you a Grey’s Anatomy.” NBC probably misses its glory days of Friends and Seinfeld and Will & Grace. Those were good times.
The OC will probably stay put, since FOX seems confident in Seth’s and Ryan’s ability to keep the women away from McDreamy. Though, now that they’ve killed off Mischa Barton’s character, I’m not so sure life in Orange County will be so fun to watch.
Of course, Grey’s will still have to compete with CSI and that’s likely to be its strongest competitor.
Even so, I’m thinking Grey’s will probably rake in the ratings in its new Thursday night throne. What do you think? Did you prefer it on Sunday nights?

I did prefer Sunday nights. My Sunday’s feel empty now. I will follow Grey’s whereever they go. I’m waiting to see what happens now with Supernatural. My TiVo will be busy Thursday nights at 9 is Grey’s, CSI, and Supernatural are all on. I might have to get another tv.

Grey’s Anatomy always kept me up late on Sunday night so Monday morn was always a drag. Thursdays at 9 is going to be great. Although, I would watch it no matter what time or day. I cant wait for September
