Grey’s Patrick Dempsey Sells Home for $2.5 million
Grey’s Anatomy’s Patrick Dempsey, is reported to have sold his house for $2.5 million.
Dempsey, who plays surgeon Derek Shepherd in the ABC medical drama paid about $1.4 million for the Spanish-style home in 2001, constructed in 1926.
The actor, who is married and has a daughter, installed a new kitchen and enlarged the master bedroom to include a closet, fireplace and balcony.
The gated estate features a large pool, outdoor fireplace, lighted paddle-tennis court, terraced garden paths and a teak-finished pool house.
Dempsey also bought a house in Maine for his mother and remodeled the property in the 1990’s.
